Our friend and frequent Spunk Ransom visitor Natalia has sent in a translation of what was said during the Le Grand Journal interview in France.

____ At the beginning of the show, they were talking about football (soccer) with Eruc Cantona one famous football player.

We are going to receive now the international super star, the actor of the phenomal Twilight who is with us tonight in the set, it’s a even here Robert Pattinson.

Grand Journal: So, Robert Pattinson. You are from London, I imagine that you are a supporter of football, and it’s certnaitly not Manchester.

Robert Pattinson: Yes, no it’s not Manchester, I’m sorry.

GJ: So, which club?

RP: Arsenal.

GJ: Ok, it’s ok, and you don’t like Chelsea?

Ken Loach: Well I guess, they have to be Chelsea’s supporters but I don’t know any.

GJ: Ok, we have to tell that in every displacement of Robert Pattinson causes a screaming riot. Like yesterday when you landed in at the airport, same case today in La Croisette, do you have … (screaming fans). Here you are. Screaming fans who follows you, thousands of websites about you; how do we live like that? How do we manage this “hysteria” around you Robert Pattinson? hero of Twilight I have to say.

RP: yeah, um, I’m just kind of ignore it. I don’t pay attention. Other wise you don’t know who you are which kind of person we are.

GL: So Twilight 2 (New Moon) is filming right now, we can see for the first time the official poster of New Moon. You are still a vampire in New Moon which finishes filming in a while.

RP: Yes, I have four more days in Italy and then it’s over.

GL: Can you give us, one or two spoilers for New Moon? One or two little secrets?

RP: Well, I mean there’s the book already (nice one Rob!) so we all know what happens. But I split with my girlfriend and she finds someone else. Here you are.

GL: But you get back, because you talk to her in her head.  Cause fans were very considering, because in the book you are not present. So reassure them.

RP: I mean yes it’s this part, when, it’s like in the book. I’m here but I’m not there. She has hallucinations, so I most of the time, come like a ghost.

GJ: Did you ever imagined that Twilight could bring a such big hysteria when you read the script and play for the first time Edward Cullen?

RP: No, not at all. And every time it’s surprising me, I still don’t believe. At the beginning it was a small movie when I signed, it was not such a big deal. And everything changed.

GJ: Yes, there is such a big hysteria, that you actually use pseudonyms in hotels. Like for example, in Paris you used Clive Handjob.

RP: In Paris yeah it was the one I used.

GJ: Do you enjoy playing Edward, or you want/need to turn the page and do something else? In other roles for example.

RP: Um, it was about to become a Saga and at this moment I’m focused on that, but after that, we’ll do other stuffs. But it’s not in my plans to change roles. But I’ll do others movies as well.

GJ: There is the movie when you are Dali. A project for Dali. (DUH YEAH!)

RP: Yeah. That came out  about a month I think, but it’s before the end of New Moon. But it’s an interesting movie.

GL: So, we have the DVD, and we are going to see a still for Twilight. And I assume that everybody is going to be happy here.
