And yes, I did find the info at My Entertainment World, generally they and Production Weekly keep track of when productions usually start up. I use to keep an eye on Variety’s Production Page but their site is now pay for subscription and I’m way too cheap to pay anything.
Hopefully soon they there will be a cast, location and finance update for ‘The Unbound Captives’ if principal production will be starting soon.

Presenting Luis Buñuel as boisterous and domineering, Salvador Dali as an insecure, pretentious performer and Federico García Lorca as a tortured romantic, Little Ashes tells a tale of (mostly) forbidden love amongst Spain’s most notorious (partially) Surrealist gang of rebels. It simplifies these larger-than-life figures, whose known work expands far beyond the character attributes demonstrated in this film, reducing them to one-note signifiers to further a queer agenda. Identification filters through Lorca (Javier Beltran), the political martyr, as he and Buñuel (Matthew McNulty) develop a close bond with Dali (Robert Pattinson), an overly affected new student at their University. Brief mentions are made of their art and politics, with Buñuel idealizing France as a bastion of freedom, but mostly we get Lorca giving Dali doe-eyed glances when not ignoring the flirtations of his writer friend, Magdalena (Marina Gatell). While these romantic complications do indeed provide ire and tension, putting ideology to the test with a homophobic, gay-bashing Buñuel (a potential cinematic embellishment), a lack of vested energy in surrounding narrative trajectories limits the overall experience. The only moments filmed with passion and intensity are those of homosexual desire, with the camera lingering on brief kisses and touches, relegating Magdalena’s pain to a clumsy scene of realization, with a requisite second-long sad expression, and Buñuel’s contribution of a few uttered “faggots” and an unexplained change of heart. Even the climax of the film — a tragic end that most of us are familiar with — is limited to a brief scene of street panic, jumping sloppily to the inevitable conclusion. Had equal amounts passion and subtlety fuelled sequences unfortunately deemed erroneous (along with significant character consideration), this interesting tale could easily have gone from curious failure to a sweeping emotional success. As it stands, Ashes is little more than a slight to the men it portrays, boasting a handful of powerful moments, but mostly flat plot machinations. Included with the DVD are cast and crew interviews.

“We put up barricades 90 feet from the scene, and the people and paparazzi just didn’t care,” Chris said about the people who would swarm to watch scenes with Rob being filmed. “Robert was really under the gun, under a lot of pressure, and I know he’s kind of learning to deal with it. And it’s a lot to deal with.”
Chris attributed “instant messaging” (the older generation’s all encompassing term for text messaging, Facebook, and Twitter) for the amounts of people who would flock to the “Remember Me” set when they shot outdoor scenes. He said having NYU’s campus nearby meant a lot of young female fans came to the set for a chance to see RPattz.
“He was doing scenes with a crowd of people 30 feet away from him and the paparazzi would not stop clicking the camera and there was a couple of hot, heated periods with the director [Allen Coulter] with that kind of intrusion,” Chris said. “I know at his age, no way I could have handled it.”
Coming from an Academy Award-winning actor, that says a lot. But Chris came into his own in Hollywood at a much later age than Rob did, and we wouldn’t quite classify him as a young heartthrob, so when he makes comments like, “I think this is all kind of new to Robert,” we think he might be talking more about himself than the man who has worked publicity for two “Twilight” movies.

As for the blogosphere, Orlando says he keeps out of it because he read one a long time ago and “couldn’t believe how nasty it was.” Mr. Bloom reminisced about his start in Hollywood and how his popularity exploded after Lord of the Rings. How did he cope with it? “I kept myself busy with work but now, it’s crazy! Look at that guy Robert Pattinson. The poor guy can’t go anywhere now!”

Plenty of Los Angeles scholars study at the Ivy League colleges, many at the very esteemed educational institution known as Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. But Robert Pattinson?
It’s true. Well sort of true.
News yesterday (January 23) said that the Twilight star is in talks to play a a veterinarian student who studies at Cornell. This higher education stint is where the film “Water for Elephants” begins.
Based on Sara Gruen’s best seller, the novel adaptation reportedly brings Pattinson together with Sean Penn in the upcoming big screen tale about a young man who looses his parents to a car accident, and subsequently, leaves Ithaca to join the circus.
Yes, peanuts are involved in this highly anticipated film where Academy Award-winning Penn takes the role of a very screwed up animal trainer. The role of Sean’s wife is being played by sweetie Reese Witherspoon.
But back to college.
Cornell is one of the most highly identified college in the United States, an Ivy League member that sits high on a hill in Ithaca, New York. Set in a rustic, woodsy area, the campus claims a suspension bridge slung precariously over a stream some say is called the suicide bridge because certain scholars who couldn’t take the pressure decided to jump into the gorge far below.
Not that Robert Pattinson would go to such drastic measures if he can’t, say, get his lines down or get his accent right.
To be sure, the Twilight star will surely enjoy this lovely campus in a place that resembles the Scottish highlands when the film Water for Elephants reportedly goes on location to ithaca starting in June. (Get your travel plans ready, Robert Pattinson fans!). The college town is a lovely escape from urban chaos, with historical buildings of pariticular interest.
For instange, Sage Chapel — built when the university bowed in 1865 — is the epitomy of Ive Leage, In fact, the non-denominational place of worship designed by Charles Babcock, Cornell’s first professor of architecture, has at times been covered in ivy. Consistent attributes include ceiling murals, elaborate brickwork, stained glass windows, and wall mosaics. With seating for 800, the arts and crafts movement chapel is the site for many student marriages, performed both during and after these scholars complete their studies at this venerable establishment.
Tours of Cornell are available from April through November when reserved in advance, and side trips to the beautiful Finger Lakes region (great fishing, ice skating) are worth considering when you visit this picturesque region of New York state.
IF YOU GO to Ithaca, NY from Los Angeles, CA: One-stop and two-stop flights are available on US Airways and Continental out of Los Angeles International Airport to Ithaca Tomkins Regional Airport with fares starting at $489 round trip with 14-days advance notice. For more choices, check out airline sites directly or visit sites such as www.kayak.com or www.sidestep.com for detailed flight and fare information. Ithaca Airport (situated about 10 miles from the Cornell University campus) can be reached by car, shuttle, taxi, limo, and bus.
