DVD Verdict Reviews “Little Ashes”
Eek! Bad review of Rob!
It’s probably worth noting at the beginning of this review that I am not a Robert Pattinson hater. He was ghastly in last year’s New Moon, but I found him perfectly watchable in the initial Twilight effort and in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. That said, I really detested his performance in Little Ashes and the motion picture as a whole. Rarely does a movie so utterly uninspired and drably compiled come about, but when they do it’s a serious cause for concern. The film was shot around the same time that Twilight was, and it’s only on the back of that movie’s success and Pattinson’s uncontrollable popularity that this turgid biopic was allowed to see the light of day. I honestly had fairly high hopes for Little Ashes, but it’s a masturbatory exercise in bad acting and aggressively pompous direction.

I couldn’t disagree more… I just saw Little Ashes this past week and although the story line was not overwhelmingly fantastic “it was good”, I absolutly loved Robs performance. To me it was shockingly refreshing. And its not couse I love Rob becouse I do agree that his performance in New Moon was not good (“and I’m so sorry to say that” but I dont blame you baby cause I do think your brilliant and I’m still buying it and seeing all your movies in the theaters and buying those also)
( just in case lol). I dont now what is up with these big time directors I blame them that they don’t know how to direct just know how to gross big money. Its not only about the money ppl.Or is it? But the smaller directors like Catherine Hardwicke focus just a little bit more on all the small details. I don’t know about you but I would love for Breaking Dawn to be maid by a woman , you know just to keep in touch with the feminine side of the movie and eeze on only focusing on the action. lov you Rob
