Join Us! The Robert Pattinson Fansite Cookbook Project
March 25th, 2010 | filed in: Fan Submission, Site News

We are pleased to announce the Robert Pattinson Fans Cookbook project.

Robnation.org is joining forces with Spunk-Ransom.com, Twilightish.com, Robpattinson.com, AND NOW cullen-enterprise.org, robertpattinson.pe, twilight-web.org, thinkingofrob.com, everythingbuttwilight.blogspot.com AND NOW EVEN MORE robsessed.com.br and teamedwardpov.blogspot.com AND MORE MORE MORE teampattinson.co.uk, twi-lounge.depattinsonstateofmind.com AND EVEN ONE MORE thepattinsonproject.wordpress.com to create a Rob-themed cookbook where the proceeds will go to help the people of Haiti and the preservation of nature.

The two charities we are supporting with the proceeds are both charities that Rob has supported/supports, YeleHaiti and the World Wildlife Fund. Rob participated in the Hope For Haiti Now telethon which donated some of its proceeds to YeliHaiti, and was recently seen on a video telling a fan the charity he supports the World Wildlife Fund. We will be donating 100% of the profits from the cookbook in the name of our websites, on behalf of Robert Pattinson, on a monthly basis once the book has been completed and published. We will be selling the book on our websites as well as Lulu.com. If you would like to learn more about these amazing charities, I have posted links to their websites below.

We need your help! We are looking for themed recipes that coincide with locations of movies Robert has worked on. As an example, “Little Ashes” was filmed in Madrid so maybe some recipes from Spain. Robert is from London so maybe some recipes from his homeland. “Twilight” was shot in both Canada and Washington so some recipes indigenous to that area. Also recipes can include names such as “Vampire…..” or “Wizard….” Truly the sky is the limit on this one.

We are looking for recipes in the following categories:

1. Appetizers
2. Soups/Salads
3. Main Courses
4. Sides
5. Desserts

Submission Guidelines:

- All recipe submissions need to be emailed. Please submit your entry to admin@spunk-ransom.com

- You must include your name, home address/city/state/zip, telephone number and email address.

- Any recipe you submit may be published on our sites. We don’t return submissions, so keep a copy.

- Be sure to title your recipe appropriately for the theme of the cookbook.

- Take a picture of your completed dish. Try to make the picture look “pretty” as this will be a published E-Book.

- Deadline. We will be accepting submissions until April 30, 2010.

- Include the following originality statement at the end of each submission: “This will certify that the above recipe is original,” followed by your full name to affirm this is your recipe.

- Request anonymity. If due wish your name and city and state printed with your recipe, we will respect your request, but you still must include name and address information.

- All recipes submitted become the property of Robnation.org, Spunk-Ransom.com, Twilightish.com and Robpattinson.com. By submitting your work to us, you are giving Robnation.org and its partners, affiliates and licensees the non-exclusive right to publish your work in any format, including all print, electronic and online media.

PUBLISHING AND SELLING THE COOKBOOK:

We are planning on publishing and selling the book through Lulu.com. This is fairly easy. They publish the book and help promote it and they keep 20% of the proceeds.

We also want to sell the cookbook on our websites. This will be as easy as having a button which will direct people to the Lulu.com site where our book is. Once the book is up and ready, we will make buttons for all of the sites and get them to you asap.

ABOUT THE CHARITIES:

We are working with the charities right now on the best way to go about donating. We would like to donate in our websites names, monthly, on behalf of Robert Pattinson, but it may not be possible that way. Worse case scenario, we will donate in our names. I think the important thing here is that we are donating to Rob’s favorite charities. I don’t think he will care if it is in his name or not. Just that the charity is getting money because we support him and them. We will keep you informed on how this will happen once we get it settled with the charities.

World Wildlife Fund:

For more than 45 years, WWF has been protecting the future of nature. The world’s leading conservation organization, WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by 1.2 million members in the United States and close to 5 million globally. WWF’s unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science, involves action at every level from local to global, and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature.

Yele Haiti:

Yéle Haiti is a grassroots movement that builds global awareness for Haiti while helping to transform the country through programs in education, sports, the arts and environment. Yéle’s community service programs include food distribution and mobilizing emergency relief. Grammy-Award winning musician, humanitarian and Goodwill Ambassador to Haiti Wyclef Jean founded Yéle Haiti in 2005.
