Robert Pattinson, Stewart’s Twilight co-star and reported love interest, is also blazing the indie trail. At a pre-release London premiere last year of Little Ashes, in which he portrayed Salvador Dali, Twilight fans snapped up tickets to the advance screening in such numbers that Little Ashes’s director, writer or producers couldn’t get in to watch their film. But even though Pattinson appeared naked in Little Ashes, “Twi-hards” found the notion of a Euro arthouse film depicting the relationship between Dali and Federico Garcia Lorca to be of limited appeal; Little Ashes still never expanded beyond 16 screens.

It was another day in movie paradise.   Today crews were back at it again, setting scenes for “Water for Elephants”.Channel 3 has learned Robert Pattinson will arrive in North Georgia this weekend.

Today we witnessed many of the film’s crew at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum looking at rail cars.  Parts of “Water for Elephants” could be shot at the museum early next week.

As we were first to report on Wednesday, a local family will rent their home to the movie studio for the scenes.

Tonight at 6:00 we talk to Pattinson fans and show you more of the movie set.

The actors haven’t even arrived yet, but Robert Pattinson could greet the rising sun Friday in Chickamauga, and possibly head to Chattanooga.

Thursday we watched tons of fans take pictures and get a glimpse of the home where Pattinson will leave his mark on North Georgia. From the antique cars, to the dated laundry hanging from clothes pins, a set for “Water for Elephants” is getting closer to completion in Chickamauga, Georgia.

The movie, set in the 1930s, will star Reece Witherspoon and Hollywood heart-throb Robert Pattinson.

“I love him, and my daughter-in-law really loves him. She is going to be mad if I see him and she doesn’t,” Jane Martin says.

From the two lane road in Chickamauga fans could see bicycles, props, antique furniture on the front porch and even curtains through the windows where Pattinson could soon look out.

Pictures were snapped and video was shot by “Edward” fans Thursday, hoping to catch a moment in movie history.

“I can’t imagine more people not wanting to come out and film, its just amazing they found this place in the middle of no where,” Debbie Angermeier says.

From Chickamauga to Chattanooga we spotted movie mania everywhere.

The Chattanooga Railroad Museum hosted many of the films crews Thursday as they scoped out rail cars, and the Sheraton Read House had trucks parked outside the building with what looked like costumes for the film.

While many of the crews are trying to keep much of the filming a secret, the thought of Robert Pattinson coming to the Tennessee Valley has women of all ages drooling a little bit.

“I think this is just the coolest thing ever! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for something to happen like this,” Kim Wallin says.

Filming could start as early as Friday in Chickamauga. We checked out Pattinson’s official fan website and it said filming in LA wrapped up Wednesday, and he was headed to Chickamauga, Georgia.

Security will be very tight.

We do want to point out the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum will be closed on Monday and Tuesday for what might be filming.

A house on West Cove Road in Kensington, just south of Chickamauga, will be used in the upcoming movie “Water for Elephants.”

“Water for Elephants” will star Robert Pattinson (famous as Edward Cullen in the “Twilight Saga” series) and Reese Witherspoon. The movie, based on a novel by the same name, is set during the Great Depression. Pattinson plays a poor, newly orphaned veterinary school student who joins up with a traveling circus. Witherspoon plays one of the circus performers.

Crews and the two stars are expected to be on the scene Friday morning for filming. According to news reports, roads will be blocked and security will be heavy.

The house, which has not been lived in for 12 years and has no electricity or running water, belongs to a north Georgia family. The owners were told the house is perfect for scenes for the 1930s-era film.

Equipment for filming the movie is being held at the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel. Meanwhile, fans have already spotted Pattinson in Chattanooga.

“We are coming out to get a view or a picture of Robert Pattinson,” Burnette said.

As the two fans stood on the street with their children trying to get a good view of the set being built and possibly a chance encounter with a Hollywood movie star, the weather was hot and humid and the attention to the area was growing.

The movie is in its final stages of being shot and according to some of the movie’s insiders. The scene being shot is only for a five-minute scene for the film.

Pattinson and Witherspoon have yet to be called to the scene, but this doesn’t stop the actors’ fans from getting a look at movie magic in the process.

“It is not everyday that Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon come to town,” Burnette said.

Asked if she had the opportunity to meet Pattinson, Galloway said, “I just want to touch him.”

“I just moved to Chickamauga and this girl here (Galloway) came out of her house with a ‘Twilight’ shirt on. Not only is he (Pattinson) making great movies, but he has brought people together,” Burnette said of the two young fans’ new friendship.

Asked if security asked them to leave to not disrupt filming, the two fanatic fans said that they would.

“We are not stalkers, we are just dedicated fans,” Burnette said. “This is history being made in Chickamauga.”

The two fans stayed up until 4 a.m. Thursday Goggling when and where the movie was being filmed in Chicka-mauga.

“We love him and want to meet him and we will see the movie when it comes out,” Burnette said.

The business of showbiz

Mountain Cove Farms Store proprietor Steve Caheely has been hard at work keeping the film crew fed for lunch and has had an increase in business due to the filming in Chickamauga.

Caheely has been feeding the crew for the past three weeks.

“They is a mixture of artist, painters, prop designers, landscapers, and laborers and they are a great group of people who are very nice,” Caheely said.

According to Caheely, the film crews have enjoyed hamburgers, sandwiches and hotdogs and this, Caheely said, has been good for business.

“I have fed at least 10 more people a day that I normally do not have,” Caheely said.

Asked if the filming is good for the area, Caheely said, “This has brought money down here and many sight-seers. Maybe they might film another movie here in these locations, possibly.”

Rob Interview translation

This 24 year old londonite barely needs introduction, because in three years he has become an international star thanks to his role as vampire Edward Cullen. We spoke to him before the premiere of ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” about the film and much more. Ladies and gentlemen…Robert Pattinson!

Hello Robert! Edward is considered a romantic hero, but he also has flaws and is very possessive. What do you think? Has he changed?
Yes. His flaws in the first two movies and the story are caused by a type of disconnect from reality, and when he finally finds something to hold on to, this feeling of possessiveness emerges. As the saga evolves, he accepts he’s part of this contemporary world and these flaws begin to disappear. In ‘Eclipse’ he comes out of his shell more, so we hope that at the end of “Breaking Dawn” he’s this normal seventeen-year-old guy except a bit paler.

The concept of a soul is very important to Edward. Do you also believe we have a soul?
Do I believe in having a soul? Yes, definitely. I don’t remember exactly what Edward said but it was something like, “A soul and heaven must exist because people are not sufficiently rewarded on Earth.”

Would you compete with another guy for a woman like Jacob and Edward?
Are you asking me if I’d sleep with a woman and some other guy?

Only if you’d compete!
No. If you’re the one that is with the girl in the first place I guess you’d have to fight a bit, but I don’t think I’d ever be in Jacob’s place because then you’d only end up being the guy she breaks up with.

Have you ever gotten into a fight over a girl?
Yea, but it wasn’t because of love mostly pride.

How was it working side by side with Taylor Lautner? In ’Eclipse’ you have more scenes together.
It was great because I’d never done anything that wasn’t with Kristen. Besides, Taylor is very good. For Edward it’s hard to allow himself to feel emotions like jealousy of Jacob and not be able to control himself when he’s near. However, it’s easier to interpret.

Taylor has a great line when Jacob has to say he’s hotter than Edward. How was that scene?
It was fun. There are many good lines from Jacob in that scene. In a couple of sequences there’s scenes where I push him a little and I’m supposedly going to grab his shoulder, but when I do his shoulder is too big. Taylor kept having to dress with the warewolf’s uniform and try to be intimidating with those clothes and I kept slapping him in the head and stuff.

Are there any scenes with him that you especially enjoyed?
It was fantastic having him there in some scenes. I like the ones where Bella has to reveal something of herself in front of Edward and Jacob at the same time.

Has there been a time during shooting that you had to contain your laughter in fun scenes, like the tent scene?
I was really nervous in that scene and I don’t know why. I think it was because I was claustrophobic ‘cause we were shooting inside a tent. I would forget lines; I was super fidgety and wanted to hit someone. We did three takes and Kristen was supposed to be asleep on the floor and, since she saw what was happening to me, halfway through the scene she suddenly opened her eyes and stared at me trying to make me laugh in what was supposed to be one of the more serious scenes of the entire movie. I wanted to strangle her the first couple of seconds but afterwards I couldn’t stop laughing.

You have a lot of scenes with Bella. Do you and Kristen prepare beforehand or do you wait until you’re on set and start shooting?
I prepare because for some reason I don’t understand anything and try to delve into the deep side of a character. However, for Kristen it seems obvious. Her mind works in a completely different way than mine and she can immediately feel things. I’m more cerebral but in the opposite way as her. I don’t feel confident unless I understand the reason why I do things.

What would you tell someone that asked you for a reason to go watch ‘Eclipse’?
Why not? (laughs) With the first and second films I knew the exact what to tell people to encourage them to go to the theaters, but now it’s more difficult. I suppose if you’re a fan of the saga there are a lot of things that you’ll love. However, if you’re not or don’t know what it’s about, it’s the most accessible of the three. It’s a sold story by itself and has a lot more action.

Robert is currently filming ‘Water For Elephants.’ He will also begin filming ‘Unbound Captives’ with Rachel Weiz and Hugh Jackman soon and has the premiere of ‘Bel Ami’ pending. Of course, in October he will once again get in Edward’s skin for the filming of ‘Breaking Dawn.’

1. We’re in the wrong industry. Mark today’s date on the calendar as the day we quit our jobs at TheFABlife and became wardrobe assistants. This fellow in plaid is living the life. We’d gladly take a paycut volunteer to fondle Rob’s buttons all day.

2. Rob was not actually attacked by a lion on set. While the caption on these photos said “Robert Pattinson is bitten by a lion,” someone clearly took a trip the makeup department of the nearest Halloween store and slapped this fake wound on Rob’s hand. Pretty low-budg for a major feature film, right? Fake as it is, we’ll gladly play nurse.

3. Wool pants don’t do Rob any favors. Let us first (for the millionth time) declare our undying love/lust for Rob. The guy’s gorgeous. What he lacks is butt. His lil’ rear is usually concealed in well-tailored suits and skinny jeans, but these high-waisted pants…well, we hate to say it, but they’re giving him a case of “grandpa butt.”

Today i went to the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel to find anything out about the movie. I went and there were security gaurds in the parking lot. In the back of the hotel I saw several trucks and people unloading all the cameras and I tryed to take a picture but the security told me I wasn’t allowed to but I managed to get one on my phone.

One of the security gaurds told the news lady they were filming at the house tomorrow, and the museum today but Robert wouldn’t be attending the museum shoots today. Thats all I know for now :) but I’m checking out the museum this afternoon to find some where information.

Thank you @tesslovefaith7!
