The winners were determined completely at random. Firstly, we copied each tweet from users who mentioned us as a part of Twitter’s weekly Follow Friday. We assigned each mention its own number and then used the assistance of Random.org to both randomize the list and to randomly pick three numbers. Hence, the three numbers corresponded with the three winning entries.
