After the single DVD, collector, blu-ray and Ultimate Edition, I now come to discover on the internet the visual Official 3 DVD box set containing the film Twilight (Fascination) New Moon (Moon) and Eclipse (Eclipse). As for the other versions, this ‘discovery pack’ will also be available from December 3 at a price of € 34.99.

A priori, its content is intended for ‘beginners’ (or your friends that you want to ‘convert’), since it includes only the 3 films, without the bonus – which seems a bit ordinary considering the price … And then little personal opinion: I really like the edge of the box with the trio in cons-dipped!

The phenomenon of The Twilight Saga has brought thousands of fans to visit the fascinating land of Forks, to experience first hand, the scene of the shooting of her favorite romance novel. Now, a new DVD, FORKS NEXT STOP: THE JOURNEY CONTINUES, allows viewers to join in this exciting journey from home, anywhere in the world.
The DVD is divided into three chapters. The first takes viewers through the real streets of the town and highlights sites of The Saga in real life, including many of those magical places where Bella and Edward began his unforgettable love story. The second part is a virtual tour of the mythical forest, mountains and rivers of Forks and La Push. In the last chapter we see the great community of fans of the saga in all parts of the world.

FORKS NEXT STOP: THE JOURNEY CONTINUES adds a new dimension to the experience of The Twilight Saga, which combines reality with fiction for fans to further know the incredible world of Bella, Edward and Jacob.

Today Orange announced that Orange Wednesdays customers will now have a decisive say on who is nominated for the established Orange Rising Star Award, the only award at the Orange British Academy Film Awards to be voted for by the British public.

This announcement comes at the same time as the call for the 2011 Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award recommendations goes out to all industry professionals, who are asked to put forward talent that they forecast to be stars of the future.

The role and purpose of the award for identifying talent destined for stardom will remain the same. The format will change to give Orange Wednesdays customers the chance to have their say on the five nominations, which will then be voted on by the British public before the winner is crowned at the Orange British Academy Film Awards on 13 February 2011. To reflect the new role of the Orange Wednesdays customer, the award name has changed to the Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award. The Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award was created in honour of Mary Selway, the highly respected BAFTA-winning casting director whose career spanned three decades and over 90 films before she died in 2004. Previous winners include James McAvoy in 2006, Eva Green in 2007, Shia LaBeouf in 2008, Noel Clarke in 2009 and Kristen Stewart in 2010.

A survey carried out by Brand Licensing Europe 2010 has revealed the top TV shows and film characters with the most successful licensing programmes.

BLE asked over 450 senior licensing professionals to rate a range of film and television shows and characters in terms of licensing success. The Simpsons took 31 per cent of the vote, followed by Sesame Street (26 per cent) and Looney Tunes (ten per cent).

Harry Potter was voted the most powerful licensed film character of all time, taking 20.8 per cent. Luke Skywalker from Star Wars was a close second with 20.6 per cent, followed by Superman on 20.1 per cent.

Twilight’s Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson) took over 32 per cent of the vote as the most profitable film character of 2010, followed by Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear (27 per cent) and Harry Potter (18 per cent).

The Muppets was voted the TV show most likely to offer the best licensing opportunities should it be revived, with some 35 per cent of respondents putting it ahead of Star Trek (24 per cent) and Friends (seven per cent).
