As Halloween rapidly approaches, residents can expect to find more than the traditional ghouls, mummies and vampires at their doors seeking treats.

The hottest costumes for 2010 range from ghost, goblin and ghoul costumes to a 1920s flapper and Lady Gaga.

The hottest costumes for 2010, according to Spirit Halloween, which follows the trend in Halloween costumes, range from Jessie from Disney’s Toy Story 3 (voiced by Joan Cusack) to Robert Pattinson’s vampire Edward Cullen from the Twilight saga. Vampire vixens are also considered to be one of the hot costumes in the wake of the wildly popular HBO series “True Blood.”

Some people asked for a photo comparison of young Robert Pattinson, and young Kristen Stewart with baby Mackenzie to see if they looked alike when they were kids.
There are not so many photos of Rob and Kristen as kids, so i put the ones that I thought would fit the most with little Kenzie.
I believe Kristen was around 8 or maybe 9 years old. And Rob was around 3/4 years old.

Did they look alike? :)

In these austere times, economists suggest that higher taxes should be imposed on the people who earn huge amounts of money.

Naturally enough, the first thing I did on hearing that Wayne Rooney had squeezed another £42m out of Manchester United was wonder what economists would make of such a jackpot. The second thing I did was read a bunch of monographs to find out. Yes, I’m serious. No, I can’t help it. Stop shaking your head.

Pug-faced footballers interest me about as much as conveyancing solicitors, who have had far more impact on my life. There was even a brief period at school when I thought this Man U everyone else was talking about was actually a Burmese military dictator. So if you want an in-depth discussion about whether Rooney just wanted to play alongside his mate Carlos Tevez, then my advice is to move on to the sports section, whose writers will take good care of you.

What interests me is how a striker who has only scored one goal this season, who had a terrible World Cup, who is in what’s widely described as the worst form of his career, can command a weekly wage reportedly between £200,000 and £250,000. And for that, economists have some answers. Even better, whether left or right, Chicago or Cornell, their arguments yield some common suggestions for what can be done about it. Best of all, in these austere times, those suggestions involve imposing higher taxes on the people who earn such huge amounts. We can even call it a Rooney tax, and demand that George Osborne introduces one in his next Budget.

I’m lumping Cristiano Ronaldo together with Bob Diamond and Robert Pattinson for a reason: they’re all examples of what economists sometimes refer to as superstars. And the second thing economics teaches us about superstar pay is that it is fruitless to work out whether Yaya Touré really is that much better than other midfielders. In The Economics of Superstars, published in 1981, the Chicago academic Sherwin Rosen argued that those generally agreed to be the best in their field generally scoop the vast majority of the rewards.

The lesson from Rooney’s negotiations, according to my economics monographs, is that we would be quite entitled to levy a higher rate of tax – call it the Rooney rate – on superstars. It’s hard to see what harm it would do. RPattz is unlikely to throw in his job to work at Tesco. Tevez is unlikely to retrain as a corporate lawyer. As for Rooney, it might even encourage him to spend more nights indoors with Coleen.

In a recent interview with the Japanese Magazine Screen, Robert Pattinson revealed the two qualities he looks for in a girl. The dreamy vampire tells the magazine,

“Well…first, they have to love dogs. Also, not shouting in a loud voice…They’re the only two conditions, after that, it’s just a matter of whether we get on well.”

Although the interview was short, RPattz also opened up about his career, how he deals with the fame and how he feels about playing a father in his upcoming movies. He adds,

“Twilight is also a small independent film by an independent director, it’s a dark and tragic drama. I still can’t get used to the fact that it has suddenly become a hit. So I’m making film after film without a break, not thinking about the fact that I have become famous. I decided that I didn’t want to appear in Hollywood blockbusters, so I choose small features as I did before.”

The young star is currently in Baton Rouge, Louisiana getting ready to start filming the final installments of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, parts I & II. The first movie isn’t due to be released until the fall of 2011, but in the meantime you can catch him in the movie, Water for Elephants which comes out in April. What do you think of his qualities?

Thank you to @24Juliac from club – Robert Pattinson / Роберт Паттинсон
(official community vkontakte) for sending this to us!

Update: Robert Pattinson Mom’s has a translation of the article for us! Thank you!

Robert Pattinson
The legend of an attainaible love
Introduction: The third installment of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, was a success.
Edward loves with passion, but without sex, and this fact increases feelings. And women fell in love too with a love so close and so far
Robert Pattinson doesn’t seem to understand completely reasons for this success. So many women want to see him only this way, as a romantic vampire.
He earned a lot of money  ($17.000.000, according to Forbes) with this character and Summit earned a lot of money too.
Interview to Robert Pattinson:
How is Edward, what interest you most in that character?
Pattinson: Edward thinks he doesn’t deserve to live at all, he would like to stop to be  antisocial and do something in life. He is not an anti-hero, he is a super hero but he doesn’t admit it. He is happy to have powers, but in a hundred years he had never done anything for other people. Edward would like to be a person like any other, and hates himself because he is a freak.
How you were as a student
Pattinson: I was a boring guy, an average guy.
You wrote and sung a song in the twilight soundtrack. How did it happened?
Pattinson: I played that music once in my house in London  with two friend of mine. After 6 months I ve listened again to that music and I wrote lyrics… but this is a long story that it ended in the Twilight soundtrack.
So, acting is your profession and music is something for your self?
Pattinson: You can’t be an actor  for yourself only
Do you worry about people could say about your music? What hurts you more? critics about your music or your acting?
Pattinson: As an actor you have to live with criticism. I want to know what people think about my music but they can be influenced by bad criticism, but, in the end this is not very important because I  think I’ll never sell my music.
You have a scene in the movie that you love most?
Pattinson: Bella feels guilty after she kissed Jacob. Edward  is understanding. It is a beautiful moment. Maybe is the only scene in which I would say he is a good guy, not anyone is capable of that. In the prevoius movies he always took decisions for him and for Bella and for the first time he leaves her a choice, because he wants desperately to be with her, so he waits for her. He has only to wait for her coming back
You are the romantic vampire, your enemy is a wolf with abdominals. A strange contrast.
Pattinson:It’s funny to think that I should have abdominals too, if you refer on books. But I’ve not ever presented myself at the trainings.
Would you ever fight for a woman?
Pattinson: Surely yes, but not for love, maybe for pride
Edward thinks as a man of a hundred years ago. You agree with him about premarital sex? what moral do you follow for yourself, the present one or 1900′s?
Pattinson: The present one
So you agree with sex before marriage?
Pattinson: I think everyone does it (laughs). It had always be this way, and people who doesn’t admit it are hypocrite. They have to show themselves as virgins because you have to say it
You said that this movie (Eclipse) is sexy despite sex. What is sexy for you?.
Pattinson: The waiting. The moment you fear that the other doesn’t want you, and you don’t know if there will be something more. fear enhances desire.
How do you feel to work with Kristen again?
Pattinson: It is much easier and much difficult at the same time.
Kristen  is such a serious actress and she pushes me to act as my best. She has a faster mind, I have to think more than her. She loves to tell her opinion on my work and sometimes she makes me angry.
Does she oblige you to repeat scenes to act them in a better way?
Pattinson: Oh yes, she goes straight to the director saying “Let’s do it again”. Hopefully it doesn’t happen so often.
And If you ask her the same thing ?
Pattinson: She would kill me.
You are working a lot now, have you still time to see soccer?
Pattinson: I put a vcr on when I can. If it should be possible I would have turn on the tv behind you
What is for you your ideal day?
Pattinson: My ideal day is here at Los Angeles, take a car and go to monutains, see nature, I don’t need anything more.
You don’t seem to appreciate all this attention around you. Do you fear negativity?
Pattinson: I fear unexpected events. I make interviews only if are about movies and I have not an irregular life at all. So anything you read about me are inventions. you have to be always prepared to unexpected events
So in life there are more bad things that good things?
Pattinson: Yes, but who cares about bad things? Every one wants to know only bad things about you.

I know that where Rob and Kristen and Taylor are staying (different from the rest of the cast) is NOT accessible. Nor are they going to be there for long… once they move, I have a feeling those three will be spotted far less than people hope – time will tell.

A friend I know talked to her friend who works at the location Rob is staying (apparently he was there when we were!!) but security is very tight on his whole floor and even staff do not come past the elevator. (ie – room service was brought to Rob’s people at the elevator who brought it to his room)

Rumours are that Rob & Kristen are sharing a “love nest” and while I have NO IDEA my friend says (since no staff had access to that floor to confirm who is rooming with who) they are/were at least on the same floor – - think waht you may with that info ;) ha ha “Love nest” seems plausible non?

Apparently Rob (& Kristen?) will be moving from that spot to a private residence shortly (if not already – perhaps that is the LOVE NEST? ha ha) Reminds me of Vancouver when much of the cast moved to the private condo’s more privacy, space, and security!

They informed me that in addition to their full security staff the production company was bringing in excessive security of their own for the “twilight movie” He also said they were erecting 8 foot black privacy screens around the perimeter.

He also said we were the “first ones” to come asking about Twilight – ha ha – I assured him we were NOT the last ;)

We highly doubt he talked to them but….

TWILIGHT hunk Robert Pattinson says he’s scared of things going right for him in the world of love.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson – who has to this day remained tight-lipped about his romance with co-star Kristen Stewart – says he’s anxious about being lucky in love.

In an interview in this week’s OK! Magazine the gorgeous R-Pattz was asked if dating is more difficult being famous.

He said: “Yeah. I’m more self-conscious. You can’t afford to fail, but you’re kind of afraid of succeeding too.”

And the 24-year-old revealed that to him, being famous is like a ‘monster’.

He added: “It’s kind of like a monster thing. The more people thing they know you. The more you’re identified with a certain thing.

“I can’t do anything in America, I just don’t want to have any stories written about me.”

On tonight’s episode of “The Buried Life,” the inspirational foursome turned to fans of the show for their next task. And just what did the people dare them to do? End world hunger or test their physical limits by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro? Nope, they asked for something probably even harder: to steal a lock of Robert Pattinson’s hair.

With the help of Twitter and some seedy stalkarazzi, the boys followed a trail that led them straight to the studly vampire, where they triumphantly snipped a strand of his shaggy mane. We gotta hand it to those Buried Lifers, they’re really cleaning up this season!

+ We were so impressed when Dave and Jonnie returned to the car with Robert’s split ends in tow, but how about you? Was it a cool mission, or were you totally weirded out? Take the poll!

The guys completed their dare! So was it cool or creepy?

  • Awesome! I’m so jealous they met him.
  • Gross, who wants someone’s hair?

2. “That’s my boy! That’s my SON!” (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire)

Each film in the series has its fair share of moments to tug at the heart-strings but the scene following Harry’s pivotal and deadly confrontation with Voldemort may just top them all. With all the magical elements, set pieces, plot points and crazy creatures, the Potterverse can often be mistaken for pure fiction and fantasy but the senseless death of Harry’s fellow Tri-Wizard competitor Cedric Diggory (played by Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson) is all too real. Harry’s grief after witnessing his death is understandable, especially for someone whose short life has been filled with so much pain, but nothing can quite prepare anyone for Amos Diggory’s heart-wrenching and anguished cry at the sight of his dead son.
