As all you Twi-hards are aware, the vamps have just begun work on a much sexier Breaking Dawn in Baton Rouge, La., and while most of the cast has been cavorting around town, Robert Pattinson (aside from a bike buying trip) and Kristen Stewart have been trying to fly totally under the radar.
Kris and Rob were apparently spotted popping into Play N Trade Video Games in Prairieville, La., over the weekend. So just what are they up to?
According to eyewitnesses at Play N Trade, Rob and Kristen “ran in and ran out” of the gaming store, swooping up the game Fallout: New Vegas.
This is oh so fitting in many ways.
Considering Robsten are hiding out in their hotel (together, natch), can’t you totally imagine them ordering up room service, totally chilling out and playing games together? We have a feeling Stewart would kick Rob’s too-cute butt.
“Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart want to follow in the footsteps of Johnny Depp!” declares Showbiz Spy.
Oh? How so?
Well, “sources” for the site say the pair plans to “take some time off” after Breaking Dawn is completed, and want to choose to work only when they want.
“After Twilight they are aiming for a Johnny Depp level of fame — to work when they want but to get peace and quiet when they don’t,” reports one “source.”
Hmm. That sounds like pretty much every actor’s goal.
But Showbiz Spy isn’t done speculating.
“Right now, neither has accepted a role after Twilight so they may even take a whole year off,” claims the site.
Wait, Pattinson and Stewart might both take all of 2011 off entirely?
That seemed like a stretch.
Probably because rumors of an extended period away from Hollywood for both of them are not true.
A source close to Pattinson tells Gossip Cop that while nothing is announced, the actor has “a lot” of roles that he is “considering” for after Breaking Dawn.
And as Gossip Cop reported last week, Stewart is hoping to work next on the drama An American Girl, even though no timetable is set.
Just because the calendar ahead is less hectic than Pattinson and Stewart’s hectic 2008-2010, it doesn’t mean there are any plans to take a hiatus from movies.

Who would ever have the gall to turn down a record deal proffered by star-maker Simon Cowell? Well, according to internet rumors, “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson, that’s who. A story today in the British newspaper The Sun claims Rob turned down an offer from the former “American Idol” judge saying, “I play according to my mood, and sometimes that can come across as very depressing in music. He is a clever guy and he created artists that he knows the public will like, that’s why I don’t think he could ever launch my music career.” However, when MTV News reached out to Robert’s management for comment, we were told there was no truth to this story. It’s just “another headline generated by the internet,” his manager wrote in an email.
It’s not surprising rumors of a record deal would follow Robert. After all, he did score two songs in the first “Twilight” movie, “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign,” and played a fledgling band boy in “How to Be.” However, the actor has always been a bit evasive about a potential music career, telling the L.A. Times in 2008, “Music is my backup plan if acting fails. I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket.” With the success of “The Twilight Saga” and upcoming turns in “Water for Elephants” and “Bel Ami,” it doesn’t look like Rob will have to sing for alms any time soon.
Do you hope Robert will one day pursue a music career?

Still, you’ve set the bar pretty high. Are there any shows you’ve done, or that you’re going to do, where you worried that maybe you wouldn’t accomplish what you set out to do, or had second thoughts?
DUNCAN: Honestly, every list item I feel that before we go out, like, ‘there’s no way we’re going to accomplish this,’ and then we keep trying until we eventually do it. Our next list item [and episode] is to accept a dare, and our Facebook page dared us to steal lock of Robert Pattinson’s hair. They wanted to see that. Starting out, we were like, ‘how the hell are we going to do this?’ And it was like every other list item. You start, go after it. It seems impossible, but eventually, you cross it off.

[Japanese TV Magazine, “TVTaro” December, 2010 issue
“Twilight saga : Eclipse” special]
The magazine contains outline of the movie and character relationship
explanation chart. Interviews of the casts include Robert Pattinson, Kristen
Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli and Xavier Samuel.
Robert Pattinson:
Interviewer: Do you feel tired of acting Edward over and over again?
Robert: I try to find something different in each sequel. As I get older I
have different opinions or point of view to the story. And We have different
director each time which is good; they bring us whole different idea. I also
think that it is good that we are still young; we are still in the middle of
the career and we are hungry to prove ourselves’ strength. Kristin may be
has the longest career, but she is too, only 20 years old. There is no one
who is yawning and say “so bored, I only here for money.” We are not
making a movie that is not appeal to no one. There are so many people
waiting for us to do a great job making a fantastic movie, I aware of that.
Kristen Stewart:
Interviewer: So, in Eclipse, Bella has negative feeling for marriage, how do
you feel about it for yourself?
Kristen: Well, I don’t deny getting married. Not that I am saying that I
will marry soon, but I do have a wonderful family. So in the future I would
like to have one for myself.
Interviewer: In what circumstances do you feel you are happy?
Kristen: When I am not lie to anybody including myself.

Robert Pattinson Interview, excerpt.]
Edward accepted the fact that Bella and Jacob kissed; very calm never getting angry at her.
Robert: If I was Edward? I would break up with a girl like that and say “Oh you cheated on me.” (Laugh) I somehow respect Edward for that, and in fact that is the very scene I like the most in the Eclipse. He did what I can’t do. This is the very moment he did something very heroic. In the last sequel, he did what he thought the best choice and made her desperately miserable. So now he does whatever it takes to be with her.
Ordinary people would say “It’s OK, I forgive you” and soon after blame her “You’ve done such a thing!” but Edward did not. He overcome with envy & fear and thought “I know she loves me. And that is enough.” That is not an easy thing to do.
He told us about what he got for his friends as souvenir when he visited Japan for the first time.
Robert: There was a shopping mall near where we stayed, and I got whole bunch of stuff there. One of them was tooth paste that tastes like Curry or something weird. I got like two dozen of them and gave them to my friends; it was awesome to see their reactions! (Laugh)

In “Superman: Earth One,” the Man of Steel is a conflicted 20-year-old who’s trying to find his way in the world, bearing more of a resemblance to Robert Pattinson from the “Twilight” movies than Christopher Reeve from the Superman films.
He wears hoodies, has smoldering eyes and, as a lanky Clark Kent, wears low-cut pants and hipster skinny ties. Artist Shane Davis also made him less physically imposing — shorter and less beefy — than he has traditionally been depicted.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson turned down a lucrative record deal with Simon Cowell because he was convinced no one would like his music.
The actor, who plays guitar and piano, and composes his own songs, has rejected offers from several major music companies and admits former American Idol judge Cowell was desperate to recruit him for his own firm.
But Pattinson insists he wouldn’t fit in with the reality TV star’s talent roster – because Cowell only works with artists who are popular with the public.
He says, “I love Simon, I think he is a great personality and I think his shows are entertaining. He is a clever guy and he created artists that he knows the public will like, that’s why I don’t think he could ever launch my music career.
“I am selfish with my music. I get my guitar and I play what I like, but the problem is I don’t think many other people would like it.”
But Pattinson is confident his music will be appreciated someday, adding: “I am sure I’ll be one of those artists that people don’t pay any attention to while I’m alive, and when I am dead people will go yeah, man, that was a work of art.”

How I fell for Rob
Dear Rob,
I wanted to write and tell you how I fell for you. But then I realized it was pretty much like everyone else. I watched Goblet of Fire and thought, “cute kid, shame he had to die.” I saw Vanity Fair with Reese and… Oops! Sorry to bring that up! I rented it and did not watch the deleted scenes. (I know, I was a bad girl. But, needless to say I’ve seen them now!) Anyways, then I read Twilight. I was Team Edward! And then I heard that little Cedric Diggory was gonna play Edward and thought, “oh, please. That kid!” (I had forgotten that you should have grown up since I was already “grown up.”) So, I saw the movie in the theater…still Team Edward. And then the turning point for me- I bought Twilight on DVD. Only on the pretense that the next movies were gonna be better! Oh, and the reason that I bought the 3 disc version…it was on sale! So, then I watched the DVD extras…Team ROB!!!!!!!! That’s when you won me over. With your humbleness and adorkability, your accent and your ability to play both guitar AND piano! But, that’s pretty boring. So, let me tell you how I wish I fell for you…
Let’s go back to the days when you were filming Twilight in Portland and I was living about 20 mins away. (That part is true!) One day I decided to head over to Powell’s Bookstore for some new reads. While walking along the aisles looking at the covers of my new books, I tripped over some long and lanky legs. You, Rob picked them up and handed them to me looking intensely into my eyes. “Hey, are you wearing contacts?” I ask, “because you have the weirdest looking yellow eyes.” “Yeah, ” you say, “I’m an actor and I’m embracing my character.” We then get into a convo about acting and how I used to do theater in high school. You invite me out for coffee and we talk for ages. So, I leave my husband before he leaves me. (Unfortunately true again.) And we live happily ever after before the Mullephant sinks her bull hook into you!
So yeah, that didn’t happen unfortunately. And now here I am writing you this letter that you will (hopefully) never see! I’ve entered into every contest trying to catch a glimpse of you in person and even went to the Open Casting Call for Water For Elephants!! (Another dream that didn’t come true!) You’ve reverted me back to the days of my only other crush- Mark-Paul Gosselar! (Sorry, not a NKOTB fan!) You know you watched the reruns of Saved By The Bell, Rob! Or at least the College Years- don’t admit if you watched SBTB The New Class! And you are a much better catch, although he was in that band Zack Attack!!
Well anyways, I’m not giving up on my dreams so you’d better watch out! But, I promise to be a well-behaved fangirl- at first!
Love,
Your Future Mate
Keep sending us your letters- even if it takes us 5 months, we WILL respond. Unless you’re a “Grandmother who desires to meet Edward Cullen” like that email we got yesterday. That one will just get posted on my Facebook wall for all to poke fun of.
A Very Special Thanks to Our Sister Site, Letters To Rob!
