Visit the Vancouver set of Twilight, or mingle with the Royals at a polo game

It could be a date fit for a king, or a dangerous liaison with a bloodthirsty vampire.

Bidding has begun on two charity auctions to win meet-and-greets with England’s hottest bachelors: the soon-to-wed, dashing Prince William, and Twilight‘s brooding vampire, Robert Pattinson.

Twi-hards will be swooping through the forests to sink their fangs into this one: A visit on set of Twilight: Breaking Dawn right here in Vancouver (for you and three friends), a meeting with Pattinson, and a two-night hotel stay at the Four Seasons. You’ll also receive VIP limousine service to and from the set.

Bidding is currently taking place on charitybuzz.com, and for a measly $32,500 US, you could be in the running. Already 18 fans have entered the race, with 12 days remaining.

All proceeds from the fundraiser go to the charity Go Campaign, which is dedicated to helping children living in poverty throughout the world.

In a similar charity auction held in September, one fanatic paid $60,100 for a one-on-one with the Twilight stars. Ninety-five bids were submitted over a 10-day period, with proceeds going to Stand Up to Cancer.

Filming has begun of Breaking Dawn – Part 1 in the U.S., and Twilight mania is expected to drape Vancouver during filming from February until mid-April.

Directed by Bill Condon, the latest movie stars the usual heartthrobs: Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning.

But if you’d rather a royal rendezvous, dahhhling, how would you like to meet Prince William at the Chakravarty Cup polo match in England?

Bidding currently stands at $7,750 US, with 19 days remaining.

The package for two people includes a champagne reception, lunch, passes to the pop match, and the opportunity to meet the members of the Royal Family.

The Chakravarty Cup is an annual even created to raise funds and sponsorships for the charities supported by The Royal Family. Prince William and Prince Harry have taken over as the Royal Patrons of the charities.

So Spice Girls The Musical – aka Viva Forever – is getting penned right now. But which other bands should get the jazz hands treatment?

We heart bands – boy ones, girl ones, mixed up ones etc etc you get the gist. We also heart musicals – everything from old school Grease style ones to massively cool TV ones like Glee.

So what’s better than mixing the two totes heart-able things together? OK marrying Robert Pattinson while eating a HUGE tube of mint choc-chip ice cream might just be a bit better, but muscials about bands are pretty awesome.

We’re not the only ones who think so – Jennifer Saunders (top funny lady, ask your mum about Ab Fab) is currently writing Viva Forever – a Mamma Mia! style stage show about Ginger, Sport, Posh, Baby and Scary. It will be most amazing to sing along to the old classics like 2 Become 1, Stop and Wannabe…

According to our friends at Pattinson Ladies, “Eclipse” will be available on DVD on December 6th. The 2-Disc Special Edition will be available on December 13th. Thanks ladies!

I just want to let you know, that I contacted with Public & they told me that “Eclipse” DVD will be available on 16th December in Thessaloniki! Athenswill have the DVD on 13th December!So, I assume, that by the end of December it is going to be available in the whole country!
