Brazilian fans do it again!

We can’t resist these pictures of Robert Pattinson sporting his sexy leather jacket in these stills from his upcoming film, Water for Elephants, so you can imagine how stoked we were to find out our men can look exactly the same…if we’re willing to shell out some big bucks!

Made by the high-end Italian designer line Belstaff, the chocolate-colored bomber jacket is currently available at Barneys New York and retails for $1,495.

If you get your special guy Rob’s jacket, he’s one lucky man. (However, if it makes him look like R-Patz, it might be worth the investment!)

Now’s as good a time as any to say I’m chatting with Robert Pattinson on Sunday. So what didn’t we cover last time? Questions?

Believe it or not, there is still a subset of moviegoers that have no interest in seeing anything Twilight-related. These audience members stayed strong in spite of societal pressure to see sequels New Moon and Eclipse, suffocating media coverage of its stars’ real-life romance and even the intriguing revelation that Pattinson will deliver a baby with his own teeth in a future installment. But can the strongest Twilight hater resist Bill Condon’s Breaking Dawn after seeing the sexy leaked photos of Bella and Edward consummating their illicit relationship, one thrust at a time?

Sorry to be graphic here but that is actually what is happening in the leaked stills, which Movieline had the pleasure of poring over (for journalistic research, naturally), before Summit yanked them from websites. In the first, Edward gazes deeply into Bella’s eyes as they “make love” (or whatever the kids are calling it these days) in buttery lighting. But the still does not look like something you’d expect from a franchise that has been called “abstinence porn.” Headboards are gripped, legs are pulled back, expert (or at least advanced beginner) sex is definitely being had.

In the second leaked still, Bella and Edward lounge post-coitus with Bella’s wedding ring in plain view. In spite of these images, Breaking Dawn is still expected to be rated PG-13 — even though Robert Pattinson considers it more deserving of an “R” rating. (Movieline has confirmed the legitimacy of the leaked photos with Summit Entertainment, who also noted that Breaking Dawn is still being filmed.)

So what say you, Twilight-wary readers? Does the promise of actual sexy sex in the teen-oriented franchise pique your interest with the promise of what director Bill Condon might deliver?

I never thought I’d get to the point where I’d be one of those actors who says, “I did this for my kids,” but I really did. I have some teenage nieces and a nephew, and they never get to see anything I do. “Yeah, you did The Wire, and I see you in Treme”; and, “Yeah, you guys won the Peabody, that’s nice and that’s cool.” When they found out I was in Twilight, oh my God. “Uncle Wendell’s in Twilight!”

What’s your role?

This is a casual walking tour of the Remember Me fans.  Gretchen/Twilidiot will be moving straight through the schedule.  You may want to spend more time at many of the sites, or see great shopping along the way, but please plan to come back at a later time if you want to stay with the group.

You can meet us at either the Pearl Street Diner at 9:00 a.m. or in the main lobby of the New York Hilton at 8:00 a.m. (1335 Avenue of the Americas).  The Hilton is near the Ziegfeld Theater and where many of the Water for Elephants premiere fans will be staying.

Here is our route and very approximate times:

9:00  Pearl Street Diner for Breakfast (1 hour) 10:00 10 minute walk to World Trade Center site 10:10  September 11 Memorial (1 hour) 11:10  20 minutes via subway or bus to Washington Square Park/NYU 11:30  Washington Square Park/NYU (1 hour) 12:30  10 minute walk to The Strand Bookstore 12:40  The Strand Bookstore (1 hour)  1:40  20-30 minutes via subway to Central Park  2:00   Alice in Wonderland Statue in Central Park (30 min)  2:30  Wander through Central Park on foot, take a horse-drawn hansom, tired can hop on a bus or cab  3:15  End at The Oak Room Bar at The Plaza which is four blocks from the Hilton New York 6:00 Water for Elephants Cocktails at Hilton New York A detailed map, photos and a very exact exit strategy for each subway station will be posted soon.
