Wow. Just… Wow. Now that is how you do a teaser poster! Okay, okay… Enough with the withering sarcasm. But if we’re honest, theTwilight gang have never exactly gone for massive leaps of imagination in their posters, largely because they know exactly what they’re selling and they’re also acutely aware that the fan base will show up anyway. Especially now we’re on to the final two movies.
Yes, it’s a pretty sunrise with the typicalTwilight title treatment superimposed on it. This time around, the marketing bods have even dispensed with using any of the main cast.
In case you’re one of those who have managed to avoid finding out the plot of Breaking Dawn so far, it runs thusly: Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) are finally married and enjoying their honeymoon. But when they fall pregnant, the pair face a brand new set of threats: giving birth to a half-vampire child would likely kill Bella and a variety of groups, including the Quileute wolves and the vampiric Volturi, who aren’t best pleased with the idea either. Can our heroes save themselves and their child?
Bill Condon is behind the camera for both chunks of Dawn, and he’s directed a cast that includes Stewart, Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Michael Sheen, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Maggie Grace, Billy Burke and more.
Twilight fans, we know the teaser poster debut for Breaking Dawn – Part 1 may have had you wanting more. We’ve got two bites of Twilight goodness for you.
First, the second issue of the Twilight graphic novel is set to be released. Wait, you didn’t know there was a Twilight graphic novel? The first of the two-part adaptation received an initial print run of 350,000 copies and this second issue is scheduled to receive a similar print run. The first issue sold 66,000 copies in its first week and if you don’t have a copy yet, you can pick the first part up on any number of sites. The second part is due out October 11 and when put next to the cover of the first issue, shows our angst-ridden lovers lying in a field.
The following scan has been modified to remove the name of the hotel Robert may be staying at in Toronto, Canada out of respect for his privacy. We don’t want to a repeat Remember Me situation.
