Screens were moved around, tents were put up and all but blocked us from the action along with several security types but we managed to get a number of shots of the scene with Eric and Torval (Kevin Durand) discussing security precautions by holding our cameras up in the air (my arms are still aching!). The director, David Cronenberg, chatted briefly with Rob and Kevin before they started rolling, and Rob bounced on and off the limo door, waiting patiently for the next take, which was always heralded by “picture up!” The scene took about two hours to film with a handheld camera and finally about 5:30 pm it was all over and crew started striking the set. What a perfect way to spend a Sunday!

The Twilight hunk was spotted making some silly faces as he dashed around the set of his new film, Cosmopolis, in Toronto this weekend. Even though he was acting a little goofy, RPattz looked as dashing as ever in a crisp white button-down shirt and black trousers.

Cosmopolis is based on Don DeLillo‘s 2003 novel and follows a young multi-billionaire (played by Pattinson) as he journeys across Manhattan to get a haircut. Sounds kind of…boring, right? Well, naturally some things get in the way of the protagonist getting his haircut.

Looks like Robert Pattinson means business, or he’s late for a meeting.

@misscrazybanana security was pretty good on set they let you stand by Rob’s trailer because it was on a public street.

two things i learned 1. If you blink you will miss rob and 2. Dean takes his job very serioulsy lol

i’m happy & satisfied that I saw Rob even if it was only for a second.it’s a rare opportunity and feels sureal to actually see him in person

but i don’t understand why some fans need to stay all day even after you got great pictures & discourage others from getting a picture

Cosmopolis trucks at Front and York Street, plus at King and Victoria. Drove past the set today on the way to work. Police. Press. Small crowd. Some of the nurses at my work want to walk over there on lunch….still debating that one LOL.
