Earlier we shared some Tweets regarding the filming of “Cosmopolis” today and among these Tweets were some pictures such as this one from @Steve_s2001 of the limo:

Now why would somebody vandalize a limo being used for a movie so badly? It turns out the vandalism is actually part of the film! Our Elite Affiliate Cosmopolis Film shared the story behind the limo’s appearance:

“The car sat stunned. It was slathered in red-and-black spray paint. There were dozens of bruises and punctures, long burrowing scrape marks, swaths of impact and discolor. There were places where splashes of urine were preserved in pentimento stainage beneath the flourish of graffiti.”

So cool! The limo really needs a polish, M. Don’t know why the limo looks this way? We covered it HERE in the BOOK post about the protest. It’s being used in a scene shot tonight. Update: Chauffeur Deb is on the ground and she spotted Robert Pattinson, Kevin Durand, and Mathieu Amalric blocking their scene which means….pastry assassin! Pattinson was seen later in his Packer clothes and this tweet signals that the street is now blocked from casual observers and ready for filming. This is awesome. The limo looks amazing. Way to go art department!

if there are fans on set of cosmopolis they should not expect anything from Rob when he is working…..
He is usually very concentrated and doesn’t really acknowledge fans until filming wraps

TV Guide have changed their schedules and Twilight isn’t coming on C4 (UK Channel) in the next 2 weeks.

Its really weird because Channel 4 did say that Twilight will be airing on Sunday but they have changed their schedules for some reason.

Co-workers excited–David Cronenberg’s Toronto-shot “Cosmopolis” filming near our office this week. Hoping for Robert Pattinson spotting.

My VERY reliable source tells me that yesterday (June 27, 2011) Robert Pattinson spent naked for about 12 hours save for something covering his privates on the set of Cosmopolis shooting scenes.

As soon as this source said the words naked with Robert Pattinson’s name in the same sentence I kind of blanked out and started drooling a little (lot).  I think RPattz was in bed for the majority of that time (clearly it was an in-the-studio shoot) but I can’t be 100% sure. My source? I am totally 100% sure about.

I asked if Robert Pattinson was embarrassed to be laying about with his junk barely covered and source said ‘not at all’ and that RPattz was very cool.

In fact source told me that RPattz is ‘the nicest guy, very level-headed and not at all affected by show business’.

The set of Cosmopolis itself is an amazing place to be (as I’ve heard from others). Oh, and because the source knows how I love dogs, told me that RPattz’s rescue dog is getting so big and is as big a sweetheart just like its owner.

Not earth-shattering news, but just one more reason to wait anxiously for Cosmopolis to hit theatres. Let’s just hope David Cronenberg (who I’m told is amazing) doesn’t CUT those scenes out or down (although I don’t think I can expect the full 12 hours of a naked Robert Pattinson in the film).

Cosmopolis is shooting night scenes in downtown Toronto tonight with Paul Giamatti. Wish I could tell you where, but I can’t. Wish I could be there but I can’t *sniff*.

When Kristen came to SXSW we were SOOO close to meeting her .. but somehow we just weren’t close enough. In Vancouver, I literally stood outside the set and waited in the freezing cold rain .. and yet that wasn’t enough. Lastly, we took a trip to Baton Rouge and still that wasn’t enough. Its just so frustrating that we’ve been in the right places, just at the wrong times! Timing, I guess, just isn’t our forte!

The video is 6:40 long, full of humor. We tried to make it as true to ourselves as possible .. meaning its pretty silly. Please please please give us your support! We would love for you to spread the word about it because you have such an influence on our fandom!

DY: In Breaking Dawn your character, Edward, marries and starts a familiy: have you ever think about you to make the same?

R.Pattinson: the real motivation behind the fact that Edwards wants a marriage is simple: He wants Bella to take a serious engage. He needs her a prove before he changes her into a vampire. For me, I think that if someone wants to marry…then he/she can do it…”

DY: According to your opinion what is the reason that makes Edward so likeable to girls?

R. Pattinson: Anyone in the story has good reasons, but probably has an important role his mysterious side

This photo almost killed our Robert Pattinson crushes dead. Almost, but not quite. In 2005, the actor, who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, thought it was a good idea to wear leather trousers, with a velvet jacket. Hmm – and we’re going to try and ignore those shoes. Not even you, Rob, can carry off this look.

Much better! In 2005 Robert swapped the leather and velvet for denim and general hotness. No wonder we were Robsessed as soon as we clapped eyes on him. Just a shame he forgot to tie his shoelaces.

Rob has developed his style credentials ever since and, this year, we named him 2011’s Best Dressed Man. Here, at the Water For Elephants German premiere, Rob wore a chocolate brown Gucci suit and showed he isn’t scared to experiment. As long as that experiment doesn’t involve those leather trouser, we’re happy with that, Rob.
