Andrea @adawnn1 reached out to Spunk-Ransom.com about the recent fire of The View Point Inn. For those not familiar with the structure by name, this is the location from the first Twilight film of the prom. They are looking to raise money to save the site because they were recently going through bankruptcy and unsure of how they would be able to pay for repairs. Here is an article she provided on the fire where you can see the extensive damage. Andrea said,

Like many fans this morning, we woke up to the news that The View Point Inn tragically caught fire yesterday. To many Twilight Fan The View Point Inn holds a very special place in our hearts. As the backdrop for the Prom Scene in Twilight this is the place where we saw Bella & Edward dance under the stars & we heard Edward tell Bella he wants to “Spend a Long & Happy Life With You.” Whether you’re a fan who has been, planned on going, or just dreams of going to The View Point Inn, we want to help any way we can to restore this beautiful inn so fans may enjoy it for years & years to come.  As a fandom we are strong; we can make anything happen.
