What was it like to be seduced by Robert Pattinson for Bel Ami?

RICCI: Oh, he’s absolutely lovely! He’s great in the movie. It’s a very different role for him. It’s classic Guy de Maupassant. It’s very interesting, grittier material. It’s really good.

Other sites are citing Indiewire’s Playlist for confirming “Bel Ami” will be playing at the Berlin Film Festival. They said,

From what we hear, the producers are aiming for a Berlin Film Festival premiere in 2012 and it might be a while later before it hits theaters as the film is still without a distributor. So stay strong RPatz lovers and let these pics tide you over for now. [via Movieline]

When you back track to Movieline, there is NO mention of the Berlin Film Festival. However, it does source to where the new pictures came from Splentik. Many of us are speculating at this point because the movie tie in book is expected to hit in January 2012. The Berlin Film Festival is in February 2012. You can see why people are jumping the gun but nothing is confirmed YET.

Twilight mania

When: 2009
What: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner set millions of hearts racing as they took to the stage to debut the New Moon trailer, at the awards in 2009. Excitement reached fever pitch as the trio stepped up to the mike, and Kristen could hardly be heard for screaming, when she declared: ‘Twilight fans, whether you’re team Jacob or Team Edward, we want to thank you for your undying support over the last year.’ Sadly, with New Moon and Eclipse already on our screens, and Breaking Dawn yet to commence filming, Twilight’s top three won’t be attending this year. Instead, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz will represent the Cullen clan.

Oh boy. lol Sense of humor required.

Writer/director Craig Moss, best known for the recent spoof “The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It”, is sharpening his fangs, flipping up his black collar, ready to sink his teeth into a “Twilight” pisstake.

A film Moss planned to shoot back in the Summer of 2010, then known as “Fully Mooned”, has been set from pause to play. Only now, it’s got a new title. And a home.

Moss is directing “Breaking Wind”, a fun-poke at the hugely successful young teen movie series, for Stonebrook (“Pennhurst”, “Open House”). The title is of course taking the mickey itself; the latest “Twilight” flick is “Breaking Dawn”, released in November.

Assumingly the film didn’t happen first time around because of Fox’s abysmal ‘Twilight’ mickey “Vampire’s Suck”, which bet it to the punch.

Time has passed though… and “Twilight” is still as fashionable as ever.

Unlike Fox’s stab, there may actually be jokes in “Wind” – atleast if Moss’s midly amusing and welcomingly racey “41-Year-Old” is anything to go by.

The script for this one, penned by Moss, tells of a young woman named Stella who is forced to choose between ”egocentric” vampire Edward and ”horny” werewolf Jacob. Whichever boy can satisfying Stella’s more intimate needs gets the gig. Expect plenty of jokes that won’t be suitable for the younger of Taylor Lautner’s fans.

5. “The Twilight Saga” (last week no. 8)
Wait – an MTV Awards show without some sort of ‘Twilight’ sneak peek?  RPattz in the house?  KStew? Um, Taylor…?  Whew, that was close.

Oh boy! Let the rumors fly again. (Sense of humor required also)

News broke a few days ago that Bradley Cooper had to quit Juan Carlos Fesnadillo’s reboot of the much-loved 1994 film The Crow due to scheduling conflicts, allowing diehard fans to breathe a sigh of relief. It was hard to imagine an actor that shared fewer qualities with the titular character than Cooper.

4. Robert Pattinson I’m legally obligated to put him on this list. Sure, his Twilight character and performance don’t exactly move my meter, but his turn in Water for Elephants demonstrated some chops, and the fact that he was chosen by David Cronenberg to star in the upcoming Cosmopolis is also very promising. He’s a more age-appropriate choice than Bradley Cooper, and think of all the money they’d save on pancake makeup by carting out his pale British ass.
