“Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe on Tuesday topped a Heat Magazine list of the richest, young British entertainers, retaining his No. 1 position in the ranking of people under 30-years-old.

Robert Pattinson, lead actor of the rival fantasy film franchise “Twilight,” moved up to third from fifth and leapfrogged two of Radcliffe’s Potter co-stars, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, according to the celebrity magazine.

Actress Keira Knightley, who starred in several of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies, remained second on the chart, while singer Adele was the highest new entry at 16.

Radcliffe, 22, who played the boy wizard in the movie adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s bestselling novels, earned 51.8 million pounds over his career, according to Heat estimates. The actor’s earnings for 2011 were 6.1 million pounds higher than in 2010.

Knightley’s earnings totalled 30.9 million pounds, ahead of Pattinson on 24.9 million, Watson on 23.9 million and Grint on 21.7 million.

Adele, whose second album “21″ is set to be the biggest selling album in the world this year, entered the list at No. 16 with a fortune of 7.7 million pounds.

Three stars dropped out of this year’s list — opera star Katherine Jenkins and model Kelly Brook both exceeded the 30-year-old threshhold and singer Amy Winehouse, ranked 15th last year, died in July.

“He’s very talented, everyone knows he’s got the street charisma, the tone,” Cronenberg said at the Gothan Independent Film Awards in New York City Nov. 28. “When he’s on screen its very hard to take your eyes off of him. He’s a really wonderful actor.”

When we asked him about describing Rob as “brilliant” in previous interviews, the legendary laughed and responded with, “You’ll have to see the movie and you’ll see.”

‘Twilight’ flick blew past ‘The Muppets,’ but faces formidable holiday-movie competition in the coming weeks.

The box-office battle of Thanksgiving weekend has come and gone, and “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ once again emerged as the victor.

The penultimate entry in the vampire romance series pulled off an impressive haul of an estimated $62.3 million, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com. The weekend brought the film’s domestic total to roughly $221 million, as it survived formidable competition from “The Muppets,” which earned a respectable $42 million.

But what do the upcoming weeks hold for “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″? We consulted some box-office experts to find out.

One of the biggest questions right now for “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ is whether it will continue to dominate the box office for a third week in a row. With only “Shame” — a small indie film by comparison — opening next week, the stage is set for another rematch between “Breaking Dawn” and “The Muppets.” Phil Contrino from Boxoffice.com said there is some potential for growth in the case of “The Muppets.”

“It’ll be close between ['Breaking Dawn - Part 1'] and ‘The Muppets,’ because ['The Muppets'] has much better word of mouth,” he said, but he indicated that it was too soon to say which would come out on top.

Jeff Bock of Exhibitor Relations, on the other hand, sees the weekend going to “The Muppets.” The fight for second place will be between “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ and “Hugo,” he said.

” ‘Breaking Dawn’ is performing almost identically to ‘New Moon’ and will likely dip another 60 to 65 percent next weekend and gross $14 million to 16 million,” Bock said. “That probably won’t keep it at #1, as family films hold exceptionally well during the holiday season. That means ‘The Muppets’ will jump to #1, and depending on how many screens ‘Hugo’ jumps to, it may be in a fight for second place.”

Both Bock and Contrino expect “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ to finish its domestic run in the range of $300 million but say that we should expect a steep drop-off once more holiday films like “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” hit theaters.

“It’s still going to fall fast,” Contrino said. “By the time ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ and ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ hit, the audience will have almost entirely disappeared.”

“Extra” asked for your votes on your favorite entertainers of 2011 — and the top five choices have been made!

“The Twilight Saga” cast, which ranked No. 2 on “Extra’s” Entertainer of the Year list in 2010, comes in at No. 5.

Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novels — about a girl named Bella Swan who falls in love with vampire Edward Cullen, while also forging a close friendship with werewolf Jacob Black — made the tween set (and their mothers) swoon, launching a literary phenomenon in 2005 on a par with “Harry Potter.”

And then came the films. When the first “Twilight” movie was released in 2008, young stars Kristen Stewart (“Bella”) and Robert Pattinson (“Edward”) were catapulted into teen idol-dom, with hunky Taylor Lautner (“Jacob”) following their path in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” in 2009.

The third film, “Eclipse,” opened to huge numbers in 2010, grossing over $300 million domestically, while the fourth book, “Breaking Dawn,” was split into two movies. “Part 1″ — which sees Bella and Edward finally get married and consummate their passion, resulting in an unexpected pregnancy — opened November 18 to even bigger grosses. The final installment “Breaking Dawn, Part 2″ rises in theaters summer 2012.

I: How do you cope with such popularity when thousands of people are screaming your name?
Rob: It’s nice, but it’s part of our job. Besides premieres and promo time it’s quite calm, we can live our normal lives.

I: Did you expect that this film would be a huge success all over the world?
Rob: Not at all. The first film had a really low budget, it was an indie, nobody expected this craziness. Then it exploded. In two weeks our lives changed so much.

I: Everything that happened next was a surprise for you?
Rob: Yeah, totally.
Taylor: It’s so wonderful to meet this family – my mates from set and the fans.

I: It’s nearly the end of the saga. Are you happy or will you miss Bella?
Kristen: Well, I feel really lucky and I have no regrets. Sometimes it’s hard to leave something behind if you’re part of it for such a long time.
I love this set, I love the memories. I’d like to have an open door and see a light there to be able to reminisce this adventure back.
Taylor: It’s cool that we, actors, can start to make other movies now. But I’ll miss this.

I: What will you miss the most?
Taylor: We got along with each other. I treat this crew like my family. The saga brought so much joy to us.

Three (3) previously unreleased episodic images from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 highlighting the exquisite, handmade wedding dress for Bella Swan, created by Carolina Herrera are now available for download on the FTP site below.

Seeing Bella’s wedding dress come to life in this installment of THE TWILIGHT SAGA was one of the more highly anticipated moments of the franchise. Stephenie Meyer says, “My favorite designer, Carolina Herrera, did the wedding dress. I wanted the dress to be something special, not something that you’re going to see every day. I love what Carolina did with it, she came up with a stunning concept. It’s similar to what I envisioned, but with added elements.”

Summit also shared some interesting facts about Bella’s dress:

Stephenie Meyer & Director, Bill Condon selected this design out of ten sketches that Ms. Herrera submitted.
The wedding dress is handmade and took Ms. Herrera and four seamstresses six months to complete.
The wedding dress was custom fit for Kristen Stewart.
The dress is made out of crepe satin and French Chantilly lace
152 buttons line the back of the dress and there are 17 buttons on each sleeve
Ms. Herrera designed the back of the dress to be a surprise, and she considers it very romantic.
Ms Herrera plans to include the design in her 2012 collection and it will be available at her CHNY boutiques next year.
The estimated value of Bella’s wedding dress is $35,000.
The bridal dress company Alfred Angelo will be selling a replica of the dress in select stores retailing at $799.

Thank you Summit Entertainment!
