That does it. I am so over Bella Swan, especially with Kristen Stewart drooping through the role—the dullest girl ever to be loved by a vampire. (She looks pained on an average day; here, during marriage, honeymoon, and the world’s most hideous birth experience, she looks tortured.) And while I’m at it, I’m over this credulous, dutifully reverent, drawn-out movie adaptation of such an insipid fantasy. I said it before and I’ll say it again: You who love The Twilight Saga deserve a much better saga to love!
Munich’s Concorde Film was, for the second year running, the top indie distributor in Germany, thanks to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, which earned nearly $30 million at the German till.
Worst TMI Publicity: On the eve of the release of the Reese Witherspoon-Robert Pattinson love story, “Water for Elephants,” Witherspoon let slip that filming the up-close make-out moments with the dreamy Pattinson was anything but romantic, due to her co-star’s runny nose.
“He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it, and it was not appealing,” Witherspoon told an interviewer. Then, apparently hoping to completely sabotage 20th Century Fox’s multimillion-dollar investment, added, “I’m talking green, infectious, disgusting. I’m not kidding!”
”Holiday greetings to all of you and yours, and also a note of thanks for your support of Breaking Dawn. Your affection for the movie has been wonderful to experience. We’re hard at work on Part 2, and are already very much looking forward to bringing it to you next year. See you soon! – Bill”
Remember, any release date is subject to change. Especially when there hasn’t been an officially statement directly from the film studio. However, this date wasn’t listed this morning so Merry Christmas!
