In addition to her successes as an actress and her respectable reputation, Reese Witherspoon is the envy of millions of Twilighters after working alongside superstar heartthrob Robert Pattinson in not one, but two films — not to mention the fact that she’s kissed him too.

When MTV News caught up with Witherspoon recently as part of “MTV First: This Means War,” we asked her the first thing that comes to mind when she thinks of her “Water for Elephants” and “Vanity Fair” co-star.

“I would say [he is] the hardest-working person I’ve ever worked with, honestly,” she said. “[He's] professional, hard-working, so appreciative, more grateful than I’ve ever seen anyone for where he is in life.”

Given the fact that Witherspoon has been in the business for decades and experienced every facet of being famous, we asked her to weigh in on the current fan frenzy that surrounds Pattinson wherever he goes and how it may or may not affect a person.

“I’ve never experienced what he has — going to premieres and there’s just millions of people waiting for him to touch them,” she said. “I think it must be strange, but I don’t even know how to process what he deals with and Kristen [Stewart] deals with. I don’t know.”

The Oscar-winning actress said Pattinson handles his fame very well, despite the sometimes-chaotic circumstances. “[He's]a really cool guy,” she said.

Don’t miss our exclusive sit-down with Witherspoon during Tuesday’s “MTV First: Reese Witherspoon.” Tune in to MTV at 7:56 p.m. ET, when the actress will premiere a previously unseen clip from her upcoming film “This Means War,” followed by an in-depth interview on MTV.com.

Yowza!

Though Robert Pattinson has been working on this project for quite some time, a poster for his latest film, Bel Ami, has been revealed! Looking sexy (as per usual), Rob poses with his co-stars, Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Christina Ricci.

So, what’s the movie all about?

According to IMDB:

“A chronicle of a young man’s rise to power in Paris via his manipulation of the city’s most influential and wealthy women.”

The site also lists a release date of March 2, 2012, but we’re not sure how accurate that is. Check out the trailer below!

The next film to be shown by the Trinity Centre Film Club will be ‘Water for Elephants’ at 1.45pm on Thursday, February 2, in the Trinity Centre, Church Street, Haddington.

This romantic tale is based on the 2006 best-selling novel by Sara Gruen. Set in the Great Depression it is an engaging story about a rackety travelling circus and the adventures of a well bred young man called Jacob played by Robert Pattinson.

Club secretary Pat Fawcett said: “This is enjoyable escapism. It was released last year and will appeal to anyone who wants to spend a couple of very relaxing and enjoyable hours. A great film for February.”

Everyone is welcome and details about the club are available from Mrs Fawcett at the Trinity Centre, Church Street, Haddington, EH41 3EX.

On 9 March Robert Pattinson ditches his pale demeanour for something a bit spiffier, in the big screen adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s novel, Bel Ami.

While that may seem a way off, we have bagged an UK exclusive poster, featuring Pattinson, Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Christina Ricci – which you can take a sneak peek at right here.

Famous for flashing his fangs in the Twilight Saga, Pattinson has gained heartthrob status and is quickly becoming a talent to watch out for in Hollywood.

Bel Ami sees the young actor stepping into a racy world of sex, scandal and salacious behaviour as ex-soldier Georges Duroy, who gets caught between three women and the tantalising allure of wealth.

Dubbed A Dangerous Liaisons for a new generation, Bel Ami promises plenty of melodrama and sauce, quite frankly, we can’t wait to see it.

Bel Ami releases 9 March, 2012.
