Kellan thinks Taylor Lautner has “great style,” and Robert Pattinson? “He has his own thrown-together-but-looks-amazing style.”

When asked by a viewer on Thursday’s episode of his CBN talk show whether watching the Twilight movies will lead to demonic possession, the controversial televangelist couldn’t resist offering up a stark warning to fellow evangelicals interested in joining Team Edward or Team Jacob.

“Yes, I think those vampire movies are evil. There are no vampires. The whole thing is demonic,” the 81-year-old Robertson said regarding delivering them from the Hollywood franchise.

But the Prophet of Doom didn’t stop there.

Added Robertson: “And it may give you some kind of a thrill…a spooky supernatural, but it will open the door into the occult. And you don’t want to open any doors because you don’t know what kind of a demon’s out there who says, ‘So you opened the door, you gave me permission.’”

Did you get that, Twi-hards? Following the bloodsucking romance between Edward and Bella on the big screen just might land you a starring role in your very own real-life sequel to The Exorcist.

But don’t worry Twilight fans. You’ve got company in Hell as this isn’t the first outlandish claim made by the right-wing preacher.

Per Media Matters, Robertson’s also no fan of the Harry Potter series, telling devout followers last summer that unlike The Chronicles of Narnia—which has God’s the 700 Club‘s seal of approval—author J.K. Rowling‘s lightning-scarred boy wizard is equally dangerous to Christian values in his opinion.

“Well, Narnia is different. It’s not glorifying magic and the occult,” Robertson said back in July, alleging that “the lady who wrote Harry Potter, I understand, was deeply involved in some of the occult things.”

He noted that Harry Potter is “dangerous…it is seductive.”

This coming from the pastor who once said Hurricane Katrina was God’s punishment for America’s policy of legalizing abortion and suggested the 2010 Haitian earthquake disaster happened because the country’s founders had “made a pact with the Devil” when they rebelled against their French slave owners in the 1800s.

With the DVD release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 happening tonight at midnight (yay!), we thought it would be appropriate to reveal our five favorite moments from the film. Obviously our favorite scene had to be the wedding scene. That’s what we’ve all been waiting for. The couple are married in the woods decorated with lots of white flowers everywhere.

A nervous Bella, who is led up the aisle by her dad Charlie (Billy Burke, who is a great actor), tells him: “Just don’t let me fall over.” Gradually the camera reveals bit by bit of her outfit. Her hair is styled in an elegant up do decorated with her grandmother’s heirloom – a glittering hair comb.

There are more indications that The Twilight Saga could continue after Breaking Dawn Part 2, the fifth and (assumed to be) final film in the hit vampire series.

On Friday, Lionsgate executive Rob Friedman said that the studio would develop an additional movie should Twilight author Stephenie Meyer decide to write a fifth book.

“If she wishes to do it, we’ll be there to support her,” THR quotes Friedman as saying during a call with analysts.

As Gossip Cop reported last month, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer also hinted at the studio’s desire for a sixth film following the purchase of Summit Entertainment, the franchise’s home.

The trailer for Breaking Dawn Part 2 will debut with The Hunger Games’ theatrical release in March.

Last month, Breaking Dawn Part 1 passed the $700 million mark globally.

Catherine Hardwicke drives me nuts! Every time she talks about Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart or anything Twilight it just feels like she is trying to stay relevant in the world and they’re the ticket to do that. Am I wrong? Not to mention that maybe the Twilight script did suck before the rewrite (and some parts after—even though I’m a Twi-hard, I can admit it!), but I have to say her directing set the tone for the movies and I think she might have effed that up a bit!

We asked Catherine about Rob and Kristen (and we often do, as Cathy’s one of the few folks who know Robsten who likes to speak plainly and on the record), so give her a break there. Also, I actually think Twilight, the first installment is the second-best of the franchise, after the latest. Hardwicke got the heart of the story dead-on.

3. Don’t abuse your new power.

Ascending to the upper echelons of fame can be exhilarating, but don’t let all the new attention go to your head. In an interview with Ellen Degeneres, Robert Pattinson admitted he once used his intense Edward Cullen power for evil during a fan signing event. “You kind of get ten seconds with each person and you never really say anything… I kind of got bored,” he explained. When one female fan asked Pattinson “how can I get your attention?” Pattinson jokingly asked her to take her clothes off. Rookie mistake, RPattz.

“She stood there and frantically started taking her clothes off and got dragged out of the room by security,” Pattinson revealed. “I never felt more terrible… I sound like I’m actually just abusing my position.” Don’t forget that with great power comes great responsibility.
