Robert Pattinson touched down at the airport in Vancouver solo today. He’s in Canada to work on reshoots for Breaking Dawn Part 2 after spending the weekend in Washington DC. Rob landed on the East Coast Friday night, sparking rumors that he would be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, though he wasn’t spotted at the event. He’s getting back to business following a fun month in LA with girlfriend Kristen Stewart. The duo met up with friends at a Katy Perry concert and also made an appearance at Coachella. Kristen should be joining him up North soon, now that she’s wrapped up a stint of press for Snow White and the Huntsman that took her to CinemaCon last week.

Robert is in town for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which takes place on Saturday (April 28).

Last week, Rob was spotted with his girlfriend Kristen Stewart at the 2012 Coachella Music Festival.

As you know, Rob is scheduled to work alongside Kristen Stewart and “Breaking Dawn” director Bill Condon for some re-shoots. He was spotted leaving Los Angeles today!

Couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted while heading through the crowds yesterday (April 22) at Coachella 2012 in California. Robert was rumored to have been at the festival on Saturday (April 21), but only Kristen was photographed.

Robert Pattinson was among the A-listers that hit up the second weekend of the 2012 Coachella Music Festival.

The 25-year-old Twilight star was spotted dressed down in in a t-shirt, baseball cap and jeans with his gal Kristen Stewart not far behind.

The couple, who are both music lovers were seen cuddling up together as they watched and sang along to performances.

”They were kissing and holding hands during Radiohead, swaying and singing along to parts [of the songs],” an onlooker told Celebuzz of the pair over the weekend.

Kristen, 21, kept a low profile in a dressed down look as well, rocking cutoff shorts, a ripped tee and Rob’s Baltimore Orioles baseball cap.

While the duo is very busy with Kristen about to start promoting for Snow White and the Huntsman and Rob’s new flick Cosmopolis coming up, the two are set to reunite in the upcoming month on the Twilight set in Vancouver for Breaking Dawn: Part Two re-shoots.

‘Guys, they were holding hands. I know my homeless looking Brits.’

Jennifer added: ‘They were holding hands and when they stopped to regroup with their pals, she put her other hand on his chest.’

The couple were said to be waiting for friends before heading back into the VIP area to watch Radiohead, who went on Saturday shortly after 11 p.m. (So maybe that’s why they weren’t exactly smiling when the camera caught up with them.)

“They seemed happy and like any normal couple going to see a gig, and it was lovely to see that,” our source said. “I didn’t see them for very long, but they looked content. At one point Kristen put her hand on Rob’s chest. I didn’t see them kiss, but they were tactile with one another.”

No need to call the karma police—that means they were very touchy-feely.

HollywoodLife is moving full steam ahead in its relentless campaign to post as many patently ridiculous stories as possible about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

The webloid’s latest stab at relevance is to suggest that Pattinson’s Coachella wardrobe signals an “open relationship” with Stewart.

Pattinson wore an “Avalon Swingers” t-shirt, prompting HollywoodLife to say it seems the “notoriously private” actor is “open for anything — and anyone!”

The reality-challenged blog asks, “Are Rob and [Kristen] trying to spice things up in the bedroom by adding in a guest star?”

So HollywoodLife is now speculating that Stewart and Pattinson are swingers.

Our heads hurt.

Seriously?

It’s come to this?

HollywoodLife has always been clueless about Stewart and Pattinson, of course, but the site may have just reached a new level of jaw-dropping absurdity.

What’s next?

If Pattinson wears a Rolling Stones t-shirt next week, will HollywoodLife breathlessly write that he’s joined the band?

If he carries an umbrella on set, will the site declare he’s “hinting” at a secret tryst with Rihanna?

Does HollywoodLife really not understand that wearing a t-shirt is different than a lifestyle announcement?

Instead of trying to “spice up” speculation about Stewart and Pattinson’s private lives, the site should stick to what it does well.

Oh, twihards. I should know by now that your obsession with everything Robsten-related knows no bounds, but yet again, your tenacity took me by surprise. Seriously, thanks to you, my brief  celeb sighting (which didn’t even crack my Top 10 moments of Coachella 2012) has made me go viral. Um, thanks?

So, here’s the (not very exciting) dish: on Saturday night around 11, my friends and I were sitting on a blanket waiting for Radiohead to go on. We were to the left of the stage, just in front of the VIP entrance. I was fiddling with my phone when I heard someone say “Hold up, guys. We should wait for them.” And even before I looked up, I knew it was Kristen Stewart. Turns out she has a really distinctive voice. (Either that, or I’ve watched way, way too many Kristen Stewart movies. I like my first theory better.)

She was holding Robert Pattinson’s hand and they were with a couple of other people. He was wearing a grey tshirt and looking like his usual disheveled, adorable self, while she looked gorg in a black top and red lipstick. They were wondering about someone named Nikki’s whereabouts.

My friend was going to take their photo, but I dissuaded her. It’s weird, but I feel oddly protective of Robert Pattinson. I’ve met him and think he’s a genuinely nice guy; the last thing I wanted to do was make him feel uncomfortable or draw attention to them. These kids seem like a normal young couple who rarely get to do normal things, and I didn’t want to ruin their moment. They were wandering around the general population unnoticed, and I was reluctant to invade their privacy (more so than I already have). Still, I shot off a quick generic tweet just to tell my friends that I saw them.

Of course, I soon found out that tweeting about a Robsten sighting without including some photographic proof is the quickest way to get the twihards twihating. I got a bunch of messages wondering why I didn’t take photos and was I sure it was them? Seriously? I can’t claim to be an expert in much, but four years of writing and/or copy-editing stories about these guys almost every single week has made me pretty confident that I know my Twilight inside and out. (And I can’t tell you how sad that sentence just made me.)

There were a couple of really sweet tweets, however, mostly praising an interview I did with him way back in 2008 (twihards have long memories). And the messages about how I was lying were outnumbered by the messages demanding every. single. detail. What were they wearing? Did they look loving? Has his hair grown out or will he need a wig for the Breaking Dawn reshoots? Have I ever seen another couple so epically soul-matey? I’d love to tell you all that I watched him throw her down on the grass and make love to her before a unicorn appeared to whisk them into the clouds, but they were just a normal looking couple surrounded by their normal looking friends, eager to see Radiohead like the rest of us.

Radiohead was awesome, btw. So were M83, St Vincent, Girl Talk, The Hives, SBTRKT, The Rapture, Gary Clark Jr, tUnE-yArDs, Santigold and Childish Gambino. But you don’t care about that, do you? You just want to hear about how she rested her hand on his chest (which she did) and how he took her hand and led her through the crowd to the VIP section (which he did).  That’s why I just did a phone interview with E!News, and why I’ve been quoted in The Daily Mail, Hollywood Life, Lainey and more.
