Recently, I packed up my luggage to head out on vacation and brought along the The Robert Pattinson Charity Cookbook and started reading on the potential recipes I could make! As you know, we are proud supporters of The Robert Pattinson Charity Cookbook. Not only that, but those behind CSN Stores support Robert and his fans (like us). I was browsing through the cookbook and came across a recipe called Veggie Chilli Soup. The sad thing is…. it required a slow cooker. I didn’t have one so I went browsing on CSNStores and found the Hamilton Beach Stay or Go 6 Quart Slow Cooker in Stainless Steel!

  • Clip-tight lid prevents spills
  • Large full-grip handles
  • Dishwasher safe stoneware & lid
  • Convenient lid rest
  • Party recipes included with matching name tags
  • Available in White or Stainless Steel

The recipe by Amanda Bell (from the TwiExaminer) was SO DELICIOUS thanks to my new slow cooker!  For more information to order the slow cooker, visit CSNStores now!

If cooking isn’t your thing, a fan suggested you wear Rob wrapped around your heart all the time. Wait, what? Right? lol A fan came across this beautiful  Skyline Silver Sterling Silver 0.65″ Heart Locket Necklace:

  • Heart Locket Necklace
  • Material: Sterling Silver
  • 18″ snake chain
  • High polish finish
  • Features a heart-shaped locket with etched detail (holds two photos)
  • Lobster-claw clasp

She shared that she carries a picture with Robert whereever she goes in her locket. Aw, sweet, right? You, of course, could put whomever you want in the locket but it is a great gift for yourself or a loved one. I plan on getting one for myself and my mother to put a picture of my son for me and me and my brother for her. For more information to order the locket, visit CSNStores now!

Thank you Alexandra and CSN Stores!

It is amusing to me that we have received more complaints and hate since we changed our to “paparazzi-free” policy on the site. After I felt personally responsible for removing paparazzi pictures off the site after Robert felt he could not go home one night after being hounded by the paparazzi, I thought I was doing a good thing. The problem is people who want “paparazzi-free” leave no room for the exception. I understand that and since I am an educated woman and understand this cannot be a gray issue, I have decided to remove the label of “paparazzi-free” so those who are on the crusade to make this happen will have legitimate complaints against those who continue to post paparazzi pictures. Our policy will remain as follows:

We will post on-set pictures taken when Robert is working. However, we will not post personal, non-work related photographs taken by the paparazzi. Exceptions to the rule are made at the owners discretion (ie: paparazzi shot used in magazine scans/promotional ads). We will also post ALL television coverage. Television media outlets such as E! News, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, and Access Hollywood are not paparazzi businesses. Therefore, because their purpose is to merely report the news, it is not covered under our paparazzi-free policy. If this unsatisfactory for you, we are not the site for you. Thank you for supporting us but more importantly supporting Robert Pattinson.

If this policy does not meet your standards, please do not visit our site and stop following us on Twitter because I cannot guarantee you will be happy with our coverage. Our entire staff is here for Robert and his career and are committed to making this a resourceful and entertaining place for fans as we have since we started on MySpace in July 2008. The only difference since then is the removal of intrusive paparazzi pictures while he is out and about.

Thank you.

The Robert Pattinson Fansite Cookbook Project started in early 2010 when Robnation.org rallied a group of Robert Pattinson and Twilight fan sites to join forces and create a cookbook for charity. The idea was to have a book that was made by Rob fans, for Rob fans, with all profits going to charity in honor of our favorite actor. All profits from the Robert Pattinson Fansite Cookbook will be donated to the Natural Resources Defense Council. This BBB Accredited charity meets all 20 Standards for Charity Accountability. We are proud to offer the Robert Pattinson Fansite Cookbook for your enjoyment. We believe we have exceeded our goals and expectations and have created a book that not only we can be proud of, but Rob could be proud of as well.

I received an email from the World Wildlife Fund (Rob’s charity of choice):

Your support counts, which is why we’re offering you this last opportunity to receive one of 3,200 hand-crafted tigers and help WWF protect the future of nature. When you donate monthly to WWF’s global conservation efforts, you can receive one of these unique tigers as a thank-you gift.

Why were these crafts made?

The lowland, wet evergreen forests of Central Vietnam are very special–it’s the only place in the country to have confirmed records of tiger breeding in the last decade. Shockingly, throughout Asia, the estimated count of this majestic species has declined from 100,000 in 1900 to as few as 3,200 today.

To raise awareness about the challenges facing this species, WWF partnered with the Ta Oi women of central Vietnam. These women, famous for creating zeng cotton textiles colored with natural vegetable dyes, have hand-woven 3,200 tigers exclusively for WWF. Each tiger is embroidered with a “serial number” ranging from “1 of 3200″ to “3200 of 3200″. This number and the different weave patterns ensure that no two individual tigers look alike, just as each of the world’s 3,200 remaining wild tigers is unique. View a video of the Ta Oi women at work.

How can you help?

One of these unique hand-crafted tigers can be yours free when you donate to WWF’s global conservation efforts. As a monthly giver, your generosity helps preserve and protect our world’s majestic species–like tigers–and the habitats in which they live. Don’t wait–there are limited quantities available!

And, when you make your donation, we’ll share with you a longer, exclusive behind-the-scenes video that details how the Tai Oi created these works of art. This is only available to people who make a gift to WWF through this campaign.

Why give now?

This year is the 2010 Chinese Year of the Tiger. If we do not respond to the plight of wild tigers and the needs of the communities that share their home with tigers, we will witness the loss of one of the world’s most irreplaceable natural wonders of our lifetime. Your support counts not just for 3,200 tigers, but also for threatened wildlife and their habitats around the world.

Please take advantage of this great opportunity and help protect nature and wildlife today.

Sincerely yours,

Terry Macko
Vice President, Membership

P.S. Hurry–there are only a limited number of hand-crafted tigers that we can share with our friends like you. Your support counts–make your donation to WWF today.

A frequent visitor to our site, Rana Kelly, has passed along the following information for those looking to actively support the anti-paparazzi amendment in the state of California.

http://www.assembly.ca.gov/clerk/memberinformation/memberdir_1.asp

This is VITAL to our cause… These people will be voting in just a few short months whether to make the anti-paparazzi laws stricter and look at it in terms of stalking rather than just the impossible civil suits they are looked at by the law at this rate… So we must flood them with polite, intelligent, well informed emails in order to urge them to pass this bill into law without any compromise.

Spunk-Ransom.com is now paparazzi-free. This video pushed me to change our policy. WARNING – THE FOLLOWING LINK IS THE REAL TIME FOOTAGE OF THE PAPARAZZI FOLLOWING ROB. http://tiny.cc/g4oc0 I don’t like seeing him feel violated. He was followed the entire day and did not feel he could return to his home without someone following him. This is something I can no longer feel comfortable supporting.

It will take some time to clean out the site of  paparazzi pictures. However, I am committed to cleaning them off the site and in our picture gallery.  Thank you for your patience and continued support of Spunk-Ransom.com.

UPDATED: An additional clause was added,

Television media outlets such as E! News, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, and Access Hollywood are not paparazzi businesses. Therefore, because their purpose is to merely report the news, it is not covered under our paparazzi-free policy.

Always refer to the sidebar under RESPECT ROB for the latest on our position surrounding our policy.

A few of my team mates here at Spunk Ransom have informed me that there is a new application on iPhone called “Where is Robert Pattinson”. It was described as “an application that tracks Rob and people post where he is”. While our site is not paparazzi free, we do not endorse the posting of his locations in real time. This is a concern not only for his privacy but more importantly his safety.

Places to Write Your Concerns:

The company who developed the application is — http://telience.com

Email at support@telience.com
Livechat on their website http://telience.com/software/supportnew.html

Twitters to Voice Your Concerns:

@appleincnews

I hope this information is helpful! If you have an additional place where fans could voice their concerns, please email me at admin@spunk-ransom.com and I will update this thread as needed. Remember, if you are going to voice your concerns, do so in a respectable way. Granted, it is highly unlikely it will be removed unless it violates iPhone terms of service with their applications. We’ll see.

As many of our regular visitors know, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy Tristan on May 12th! Yup, 1 day before our Rob’s birthday! lol I wanted to share that I was given the amazing opportunity to get my son Tristan one of the beautiful bedroom furniture sets and baby monitors found on CSN Stores. Here is the awesome part…. do you want to know why? Because I am a Rob fan.

If you are going to become a mom soon or are recently a new mom, I wanted to recommend purchasing this Little Bedding Safari Kids Crib Bedding Collection. I went with a jungle theme for his room. I think the constant promotion and building up of “Water for Elephants” had a lot to do with it! lol

Features:

  • Green, beige, brown and gray colored fabrics
  • Crib bedding set includes comforter, crib sheet, bumper and dust ruffle
  • Comforter features green patchwork squares covered by an elephant, monkeys, lions, giraffes and zebras
  • Crib sheet comes in solid sandy beige
  • Bumper is multi-colored and matches the design of the comforter with alternating beige and green squares featuring a cast of wild animal friends
  • Dust ruffle is multi-colored and matches the design of the comforter with a colorful background covered in a safari themed print
  • Sage green micro-balboa blanket has a fleece-like feel and features a patchwork safari themed accent

Okay, so now we got a place for our boo-boo’s to sleep. But, what about those times you want to start watching “New Moon”, “How to Be”, or even “Little Ashes” on DVD but don’t DARE the thought of putting your baby down? I got to get my hands on the Graco Ultra Clear II Baby Monitor – 2M02! This way I am able to still enjoy my RPattz time with the comfort of knowing what my Tristan is doing!

Features:

  • Soft glow night light with 15 minute auto shut-off timer
  • 2 channels reduce interference
  • 2 parent units monitor baby from 2 locations
  • Belt clip for portability
  • Soundlights for visual connection to baby
  • Range on this model is approximately 500 feet

Make sure you check out CSN Stores for their variety of goods! Not to mention, they have GREAT prices too! Most importantly though, these stores are fans of Rob. I want to thank Rob for allowing me to cover his career and in the meantime get opportunities like this to better my son. Who knew two loves could go so well together? :)

Thank you Alexandra!

Spunk-Ransom.com owner, Kristin, along with myself, Site Staffer Brit, had the opportunity to guest blog for Locate TV. We constructed the following list for all you Rob fanatics out there! If you meet any of the criteria below, well… who can blame you? Note: Sense of humor is required :)

What does it mean to be addicted to Robert Pattinson? Do you watch all of his movies? Do you buy every magazine he is featured in? Do you buy any and all merchandise featuring his face? As a fan, of course you do BUT what does it mean to be addicted? We have devised a Top 10 List of You Know You’re Addicted to Robert Pattinson when….

10.) You have to pose and take a picture with any promotional item featuring Robert’s face…. it doesn’t matter where…. the local theater, on the subway, inside Wal-mart…. you name it…. you take a picture!

9.) You’ve finally finished your scrapbook, entitled ‘My Life’. It includes your baby pictures, your wedding photos and photos of your first child. Good job, Mrs. Pattinson, you figured out Photoshop for those wedding pictures and that website that gave birth to your daughter via a simple blending of you and your new hubby.

8.) You own every book Robert has been spotted with or referenced in an interview. Not only that but you have bought copies for all of your friends because you have started a book club dedicated to these books…. much like Oprah Winfrey’s successful book club. Your friends don’t know the inspiration behind your choices though…. what they don’t know won’t hurt them.

7.) You have an entire folder dedicated to KStew (Kristen Stewart) photos. However, it’s not because you like her, but rather so you can mimick her latest look. Afterall, if that’s what Rob wants, Rob shall get.

6.) Robert Pattinson is the cover for this month’s GQ magazine. Along with purchasing the magazine, you also grab a box of First Response pregnancy tests. For the power of RPattz is sure to impregnate you merely by photograph.

For the rest of the list click here! We hope you enjoy!
